Asian Kitchen — Restaurant in West Linn

Everyone seems to rave about Asian Kitchen and I'm not sure why. If this is the BEST thai food in West Linn, that is kinda sad but since most all the restaurants in West Linn are mediocre, this does not surprise me. The Pro's of Asian Kitchen is that the service is very fast, good, and friendly. The food is not bad...it's just not great. The pineapple fried rice was the best out of our four item order but the pineapple was hard and unripe. The pad thai was okay, but really lacked any flavor and had zero spice. The drunken noodle was really disappointing. It had great fresh basil to it, but was made with the same noodles as the pad thai. Every other thai restaurant I have been to makes this with the thick wide noodle. It also came with a lot of mushrooms (which I like mushrooms...) and I have not seen this in any drunken noodle before either. The salad rolls were fine but the peanut sauce was thin and watery and not thick. In all the dishes, the chicken was very dry... I guess if you have to go to the "best" thai restaurant in West Linn come here. But it's not even close as good as the thai restaurants you'll find in Portland or...

Very nice Thai food. I haven't yet explored the non-Thai options, and although the restaurant advertises it as Asian Fusion, it is clear that the fundaments are based on the Thai Cuisine, and top notch Thai for sure! The others are simply add-ons. Whenever I see this I don't bother ordering the other items (i.e. Japanese, Korean, or Chinese dishes that may also be on the menu).

Great prices and great food. The seating is limited and there is no focus on making the sit-in dinning experience anything special. So treat this place as take-out or...

Very, very nice little cozy place to grab some quality thai food. Highly reccomend. Great selection - that is actually customizable based to your liking of choice of meat, vegetables, noodles and whatnot. Not expansive as well. Paid 27 dollars for an entree, a soup, and their $10 combo appetizer. (Which, I'd probably suggest to get a salad or another entree instead, if you're like me and like to try everything). Probably would be a very sweet charming place to...
