Roseland Free Public Library — Attraction in West Orange

If I were reviewing the building and hours alone, I'd give the place five stars. This library is spacious and well lit, and one of the rare municipal libraries to stay open until 9 on most days. Unfortunately, however, if you're looking for a bit of QUIET, it leaves quite a bit to be desired. Many of the patrons simply can't be counted on to keep it down. Worse, neither can some of the staff. My first time in the Roseland Library since I moved out 34 yrs ago. The two ladies behind the desk could not have been more helpful. One helped me find and copy a tax form on line I needed to submit to the IRS. Best Library in the state. The staff is very friendly, and always helpful. During covid they are a more accessible than all the other libraries in the area.
