When visiting the oldest national park, it is a must to make sure to stop at the falls as it is the start of the mini grand canyon of the area. The upper falls overlooks give some amazing vantage points of the canyon. For those who have never seen a large waterfall before, the volume of water going over the falls is a site to behold. The hike to some of the overlooks do have a large elevation change so those who are mobility challenged be aware. Also those with kids, keep a sharp eye on them as the barriers are not kid proof.

I love yellowstone national park, the best vacation of my whole life, I visited each place with a lot of emotion, I did not know that I could appear at every turn, God your wonders are beautiful, the magnificent ones, I could not contain the emotion when seeing liters and liters of pure, crystalline water falling hundreds of meters away, really impressive place

You won’t have enough time here. It’s so neat, you can just stand here and watch the water roar over the falls all afternoon. It’s one of my favorite places on this trip and that’s saying a lot in Yellowstone! Go here and the lower falls because they’re both so worth it. This one has a few steps, but you can see a lot even without going down all the way.

This hike is beautiful, but a much longer hike than the sign at the beginning indicates. You hike back and forth on switchbacks at a decline. There's no way it is only 5/8 of a mile. This was unfortunately for the person who was with us who had a minor injury and did not anticipate such a difficult and time-consuming hike. It had a beautiful view of Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, but you can see that beautiful view without hiking down. The other view you hike down to see is the falls, but I would recommend hiking to Brink of the Lower Falls instead for a view of waterfalls. That hike is short and easy and the view of the waterfalls is 10x more...

Wow! Just look over the ledge and feel the power of the water at it spills over the cliff and sprays through the air until it crashes to the bottom and creates enough mist for a beautiful rainbow to appear as the sun reflects through that mist. Definitely worth a stop and doesn't require the same hike as the brink of the lower falls. It would still be worth it if the hike was required, but as is it's much...
