
While on a recent date, I visited Westerville Skatepark. When we arrived we noticed a highly populated cool looking skatepark. Since neither of us were confidant in our skills to shred with the best of them, we decided to skate the trail instead because the skaters on the park were already waiting in line.
The trail turned out to be a really smooth ride and had beautiful scenery. We even got in the creek and skipped rocks together. After an eventful ride back around the looping trail we headed back to the skatepark.
The skatepark turned out to be just as full as when we left it but decided to sit on top of the hill and the watch the skaters shred in the distance. The ambience of the skatepark during the sunset was an amazing way to end the date.

Read moreThis skatepark is a good balance of flat and ramps. As a long time skater I see a lot of lines. The ledge on top of the pyramid is my favorite. Its a good place for less experienced folks too because of the many banks, medium height quarter pipes, and flat areas. Also, there is a pool that I estimate is about 7-8 feet deep.
