Puff Factory — Attraction in Westland

It is very hard to write a negative review when I've met the owner, Matt, and I know how hard he works for his company.

However, aside from the company, amazing selections, great deals and even personal favors for customers, there is one problem I've had with this location.

There is a male worker there that is quite rude. Last i went was April 27th around 6pm, but I don't have his name.

Its not the first time Ive interacted with him, but hopefully my last. He does not listen to his customer, even to questions he asks.

For instance, when someone walks in and says they know what they want. You can push an alternative and then maybe some add ons, but when a customer is cash in hand to buy and leave, you don't keep hounding them.

In my case, i came in to buy a nectar collector (dab pen) and was set on it. I was asked if I wanted electic or manual and I clearly stated manual. I wanted a glass piece because its cheap and I dont want to invest in electronics, which I told the sales rep.

But I was slowly more and more agitated as he never stopped talking about the Puff Co, a $450~ piece that was out of my budget but also electronic. Specifically what he asked and I had answered no to. He had the nerve to offer a payment plan as well, after I had rejected it 3 times. It. Felt. Gross.

The female employee literally had to step in and finish the practically guaranteed sale. I feel like she could tell i was about to walk away with a $100 purchase that was in the bag for someone to just smile and nod. And thank god she did.

Because the product I picked up from PF was amazing. 10/10, carry the best products.

But I'm not interested in fighting to buy something. Id rather drive out to the folks at the Ferndale location where I know I can have a nice conversation about the products that I want to look at, not the stuff they...

This was my very first time going into puff factory, and I’ll definitely be going again. First of all shout out to Matthew for amazing customer service and going above and beyond. I walked in perturbed because my aunt is a creature of habit. Her habit of choice,since she quit the Newport 100’s in a box, The Geekbar Pulse X in Strawberry Watermelon just happens to be part of a nationwide shortage. After going to 10 vape shops in my work area, I stumbled upon Puff Factory. Matthew explained the shortage to me and I explained how habitual my aunt is. She’s been buying the same brand of shoes for 35 years now and counting! Matthew asked me a few questions about my aunt’s labor of choice and was able to pick out a vape that was almost identical in flavor. Since it IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES, I decided to taste tested before I broke the bad news to my aunt. I actually had 23% left in my geek bar flavor and I will say I couldn’t tell them apart. The bigger test was my aunt and since she has glaucoma, she told me she didn’t even notice that it was a totally different vape until I said something. She even asked for her phone number and an address so she could send her minions on a treasure hunt. She loves it and I’m so happy because I thought I’d be visiting vape stores until my early retirement. Matthew asked me key questions to get the right style, fit, cost and most of all flavor. Super stoked about this Puff Factory opening up closer to my home; I have visited the Redford location on occasion before. I've always loved the wide array of options available, and how friendly everyone is, as well as how they honor a variety of discounts like medical patients and veterans. I have only been to this location a handful of times but each time has been awesome; the employees have treated me right, and never made me feel dumb for asking questions. Alexis (I believe that's her name -- sorry if I got it wrong!), Anthony, and Mike have all been fantastic folks to talk to, and they have treated me very well. I actually know Mike as a regular from an old job, so I was really happy to see him in what I joked to be his "natural habitat."

If you are looking to be treated right by friendly and knowledgeable folks, go to Puff Factory. Go to this one if you can. There is no up selling or products being pushed on you. They will happily show you how your dab kit will work and advise you on the best ways to clean your pieces. I hope to meet the other staff and that they will be as exemplary as Alexis, Anthony, and Mike have already been.
