ABC Supermarket - Siêu Thị — Attraction in Westminster

They have fresh coconut and canned coconut but no coconut oil. I was surprised by that but had a feeling before I went there that they may not have it. It would be nice to be able to get everything I need at this 1 store but unfortunately the items they carry are limited.

I went back here 4/30/21 to buy a few items and saw frozen prawns. I decided to buy them even after seeing many of the boxes with holes in the plastic wrap. I found a few without it. A few looked like they were re-wrapped after the staff discovered holes in the boxes. It was either rodents that ate through them at night or customers poked holes in them. Im not sure or a combination of both. After they have been opened they don't stay fresh and become rancid even if they are in a freezer. I was disappointed with the taste of them. When I opened it; it smelled fishy. If this store allows meat to stay out too long before stocking and it becomes too warm they will re-freeeze to sell because of greed. They don't care about quality. They didn't taste fresh like the prawns I purchased from D&D Seafood. They were rancid. D&D seafood keeps his boxes in the back and don't allow customers to go through them and his market is clean and food is secure away from possible rodents. This store is close to me and convenient but I don't think the seafood here is the freshest because of the fishy smell in the seafood area. I would rather pay a few dollars more for quality than get a cheaper deal that isn't the freshest. I wanted to give this store a chance but I wouldn't recommend buying meat or fresh fruits and vegetables from here. I won't purchase from a store that does what this store does. Purchase meat or opened food here at your own risk! I know they see the holes in the frozen boxes of prawns.

I agree with AnHem Ta review it's too crowded, unorganized and not very clean especially on the outside where they bring food in. It's very dirty. It's overcrowed because of greed. It's bad Feng Shui here. The way a store is on the outside shows what's likely on the inside. I won't shop here again. I wanted to support local businesses as much as possible. They are greedy and won't move to a larger space so that they can have a beautiful, clean, spacious store.

This area has a lot of rodents so you have to keep things clean. I have even seen them in my backyard and had to call exterminator for...

Probably one of my least favorite Vietnamese supermarkets but I live closest to this one so it gets the job done. It's cramped and crowded because the aisles are so narrow that it's like a one-way street. It's not possible to push two carts past each other in some spots and you have to back up or stay out of the way while another cart is coming down the aisle. Another annoying thing is they close early all the time. If they're closing at 9:00 p.m. then you better get there by 8:15 p.m. If they're closing at 8:30 p.m. then you better get there by 7:45 p.m.

It's THAT ridiculous. I've come at least 30 minutes before closing many times and they seem to keep pushing the closing hours back earlier and they never seem to let you in even though they aren't closed for another 30 minutes.

I noticed that they're also selling sriracha at scalper prices - over $5 for a 17 oz bottle, limit 1. I just ordered 10 bottles from Target for $3 each. Imagine getting Sriracha cheaper from an American store than a Vietnamese one lol. Also, because the store is close to me, I have been buying a lot of a certain grass jelly drink and I'm confident that I'm the only one who regularly goes in there and buys five boxes at a time. And I watched the price go up $0.20 per can overnight in the last couple months just because I'm buying them so much. Time to drive an extra mile and buy them somewhere else until the price comes back down.
