Carroll Butts Park — Attraction in Westminster

Came by yesterday afternoon to let my kids swim and could only get a couple of them in since they have only a 40 person limit right now for folks inside the fence.

After only being in the pool for a few minutes they needed to run out to tell us something, but when they tried to re-enter were refused. One woman at the entry point said they had to pay another $4 to get back in. No signs anywhere about re-entry, so it seems she just made that up on her own. When they asked for a refund since they weren't going to let them back in, they refused that as well.

Given they basically scammed us out of $8 for the two boys for less than 5 minutes of swimming, we left. We will NOT be back to swim here, either.

Go somewhere else to swim. This place makes up their own rules as they go along, have no problem stealing money from kids/families, and they have a ridiculously low # of people they allow to...

That Sal kid that gave it 5 Stars lies! He completely biased and they only like him because he has a beard and a great attitude! I personally hate the laid back style of this establishment. While i played there I became friends with other people that played and looked forward to playing them, laughed, goofed around, and had a ton of fun playing Co-Ed soccer. The Reffs talked to me to the point that we got to know each other as friends! I mean seriously! For my birthday they took out the parachute and during halftime we played with it like we were in elementary school, even the other team joined in. WTF?!?! Where is the seriousness, the hate for every other team we play because they play dirty, the no fun zone, the show up, play, and then leave with out talking to anyone outside your team attitude, and the one side calling from the reffs that i crave! Guess i will just have to enjoy playing...

I loved the park, it’s awesome. My 18 month old grandson was not so impressed. He really really really wanted to play with the ducks in the water! It’s like a soft shoulder all the way around the lake! With huge boulders in the lake, at least on the East side. I’m just shocked there’s no fence or a gradual bank. Thanks to my nimbleness - my precious boy did not get his beautiful face smashed in by the boulders if he had slipped but it just seems really unsafe. I definitely will not be returning with the grandson until he is older or unless I have a back up who is in way better shape than me to keep the baby out if the water! Oh and the picnic table island has massive quantities of duck/goose poop all...
