My Daughter and I just finished the Beginner's Sewing Class, and it was doodles of fun. Ms. Kelly led the class, and she was absolutely magnificent. She is always so helpful. The best librarian in the history of books. She would certainly make Eratosthenes proud!
Andrew is another awesome librarian. He is patient and fun, and takes his time to entertain my Daughter. In fact, he just fixed the library computer that she was working on! He is also immensely engaging during the after school activities/programs at the library.
Liz is also a very helpful librarian. She patiently helps us find books, and tells us about upcoming events. She also gave my Daughter a couple of hints on the picture hunt which earned her a sticker!
Alex also led the Shadow Box Craft event. I brought 4 girls to this intergenerational event intended for mostly adults, but Alex still taught them so patiently.
Andrew, Liz, and Alex all also helped my Daughter and me when we ran into some issues trying to borrow some books.
The staff here are, indeed, the library's best resource!!!!!

Read moreDid taking out 2 full rows of Computers accomplish anything ??? Sure did. Every time I come here there are NO computers available I am just sitting here watching people watch YouTube Shows indefinitely. Then when you get a chance to get a computer an hour later, someone with a “reservation” sits in your seat with all of your belongings - signs you out, and refuses to leave before you are finished. You are then given another reservation and are told to wait… again. Then they allow some blonde lady to yell, scream and harass the employees indefinitely. She is just standing there yelling and doesn’t stop and the lady behind the counter does nothing about it. The 2 rows of blank tables leave people that actually need a computer out in the cold - meanwhile the same people that are just hanging out, are still controlling the computers and not leaving. 4 out of 6 men at the computers are just loitering, snacking, sitting there watching shows and don’t leave. Why did I buy a bus ticket to come here ??? ...
Read moreThis library is very clean and well-organized. Ms. Angela is incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. I came in to ask where the storybooks for 4th graders were located, and she personally walked me to the section. She took the time to explain how the books are arranged—fiction vs. nonfiction, and alphabetically by author.
She also showed me how to identify books appropriate for 3rd to 6th graders versus more advanced books for 7th grade and up. On top of that, she even printed out a list of the best-rated books of the year and walked with me through the aisles to help pick out popular and well-loved titles. She also showed me the comics section, mentioning that some kids enjoy those as well.
I could tell that Ms. Angela is truly passionate about her work. She was patient, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help both parents and students. I really appreciate all...
