Walgreens — Local services in Westminster

MY REVIEW IS BASED OFF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I RECEIVED! First and foremost let me give the BIGGEST SHOUT OUT TO ONE of the nicest cashiers """"T A M I""""... I didn't get her last name, but I am sure this review will reach her! Anyhow, upon walking in, we were greeted, which can totally make some ones day. An act of kindness goes a long way if you ask me! Second: when going to the register, I saw how patience she was with a shopper who seemed to be a couponer. The lady with the coupons knew what she was doing as she was moving fairly quickly and no beeps were coming from the register. I know when standing in line, it can be difficult when someone has a ton load of coupons, but hey there are just trying to save money like us! Anyhow, she was so poised and was very pleasant about it. Afterwards it was actually my turn, and load and behold the lady left some detergents behind, because she didn't have enough coupons. Well I ended up taking them as I too had a few coupons to burn! I walked outta Walgreens with 4 laundry detergents for a little over 4 bucks. I totally felt like a winner lol!!!! Anyhow long story short, it pays to be kind! Even though she could of been rude to the lady in front of me with all the coupons, she was very calm, cool and collective! TAMI if you're reading this, know that WE (other customers) appreciate all you do! Its acts of kindness in the world that need to be shown, even when in doubt! Anyhow, about the store, it was nice, clean and everything seem to be on sale. I love scoring cheap Dove Men sticks or just anything that I know my wife would appreciate me...

This is the worst store ever!! Do not go here! I have a 6 month old French bulldog puppy currently having serious eye problems. After the hospital was out of certain eye drop medication she had to have, we had to find a pharmacy that had it. A lot of pharmacy's had to order and didn't have in stock but after calling this location they said they had it. I made the phone call in front of our vet and family to confirm. I drove from Newport Beach and waited 35 mins in line "What ever it takes to get the drops", I then doubled checked with the guy that he had it while he took the prescription, he said yes. I was told to pick it up at 7:30pm, hours after I dropped the prescription off. Drove all the way back there, went through the drive through, a girl with glasses says we don't have it here's your prescription back. The pharmacist was right next to her when she did it as well. She had no explanation and never said sorry. Very rude and just hung up the drive through phone. I had an option of driving to this location or an extra 10 miles to another pharmacy but I chose this location. Now currently all the pharmacy are closed and my dog most likely will get worse tonight because they couldn't even give me a call. I was declined to talk to anyone in charge. So now what do I do? The hospitals open don't have her records and don't take eye emergency! This store might make my puppy blind tonight! Shame on...

Very disappointed with the service at this Walgreens. I dropped off a prescription at 10 AM and was told it would be ready after 12 PM. I returned at 5 PM, waited in a long line, only to be told they didn’t have the medication and that I needed to go to another Walgreens. I live far away and urgently needed this medication to prepare for a colonoscopy the next day.

The staff were not helpful, lacked compassion, and communicated poorly. I ended up going to the second Walgreens, where they said the prescription wasn’t even in their system. So I had to return to the original location to speak with the pharmacist, who casually said they did have the medication. I had to wait in line again and missed my appointment.

Sadly, this wasn’t an isolated incident. My mother once waited nearly two hours here for a flu shot, only to be told afterward that one of the vaccines wasn’t available and she’d have to go elsewhere.

This location has shown a consistent lack of communication, care, and respect for customers’ time and health. If you have the option of using a small, independent pharmacy, especially one that offers home delivery. I highly recommend it. Skip Walgreens if you can.
