Mill Woods Park — Attraction in Wethersfield

Love Mill Woods Park! What a great Wethersfield gem! I have been coming here for years, and it just gets better all the time! There are two beautiful newer playscapes and separate swings to keep your kids busy for a long time in the playground area!

And, most recently, my grandson has played baseball with his three different teams (been playing three years) on the baseball diamonds here, which are well groomed and two are fence enclosed! ( :

Into skateboarding?( : They have a professional made skate park for you to enjoy! ( : There are also tennis courts for those wishing to engage in this awesome sport!

There is even a man-made, part natural pond for swimming in the summer for town residents (not sure about out of town guest use)!

There is something for everyone at this park, even a separate fenced in Dog park! ( : Check out this great town resource...

Lovely Place ... Absolutely great for kid events, like birthdays (my friend's kids 2nd bday was here) Hall is average size, 25-30 ish peoples. 2 Dining rooms, small (6-8 people), large (18-20 people). Hall has lot of small games nd puzzles to keep childrens busy. The best part is the animals kept there ... which is where kids spend there time and are happy (thts why i said great place). Hallway is pretty good for kids to run around :-)

We come here almost exclusively for the swim area in the summer. There are a lot of good things to say about the swimming that's available, however it is noteworthy that the swimming area rules include: no splashing, no floaties, no yelling, no bringing in a pine cone or leaf or a stick into the water (1/2 of the perimeter is greenery anyway), no jumping while in the water, no throwing your kids in the water, no...
