I took my grandson there yesterday to ride the 5 Mile loop. It was very nice, not too crowded, very polite people. The only thing that happened was we nearly got hit by a limb coming down from a tree. I believe the tree is mostly dead and this limb came crashing down just as we went under it. Thank goodness we were not hit. I could hear it cracking. We got off our bikes and moved it off the macadam. This trail does not loop and you will need to walk back down it when done. Walker, joggers, bikers, and dog walkers all share this trail so remember to be...
Read moreOne of our favorites to bike. Can do the full spur and loop, or just one (and make it as long or short as you'd like). Paved for easy riding with just a few small hills. Interesting artifacts along the way (making for great "break time" locations for the kids). Most of the "congestion" was along the loop trail, and there are a number of street crossings, but most cars are respectful. They recently expanded their parking on Chestnut Street, which was a welcome addition. Also, the parking on Chestnut Street and on Levans Rd both have port-a-potties and a bike repair spot with...
