Overall, this place has been my home forever and always. I've loved this place since my dad, Kevin Stauffer(disc golfer) started taking us kids here while he played. When I was young I would play everywhere and also the adults would pay us children to get their frisbees out of the ponds. I go here as adult and pick up trash and give her offerings. She lets me know when it is time to go because at night it becomes dangerous, the criptids come out. Oak Park speaks to me and I speak to her, in a spiritual sense of course for me. What it does have, and what I like, is quiet, peaceful space to walk among the large Oak trees, watch the squirrels romp around, and see wary Canada geese grazing. There are some very interesting art pieces around the park as well that I enjoy looking at when I visit.
