PLEASE SHARE!!! Tonight, we went to Two Rivers to watch a movie. Concessions closed at 10:30 and our movie ended at 11:30. I went to the restroom and this is just a glimpse of the filth in the restrooms. Not to mention the trash cans overflowing in the lobby and popcorn covered floors. I approached the employee behind the counter who was scrolling his cell phone to let him know that the bathrooms were in need of attention. He laughed at me and continued to scroll his Facebook or wte on his phone. He went on to tell me that contacting a manager would do no good because he is a manager. I couldn’t help but laugh. When I tell you that he sat there and shrugged his shoulders, I’m not exaggerating. It was a disgrace. Think before you spend your hard earned money at this facility. Or maybe you will have better luck with Noah. Maybe he could have been doing his job since concessions had been closed...
Read moreI wanted to see Dune: Part Two again after a subpar experience elsewhere, so I made plans to drive here down from Boone, and I was absolutely amazed at the quality, cleanliness, and pricing of this theater.
Popcorn is fill-your-own-bucket, and the bathrooms were spotless. The cinema itself was equally clean, and the screen (I saw the movie in TRX) was massive, with exceptional sound quality - very comparable to IMAX. The screen was bright and crystal clear. Seats were not the nicer recliners you see at some AMC theaters, but were still very comfortable and did lean back a bit.
Given the choice between Regal Boone and this theater, I will gladly drive the forty minutes down the mountain to go here. My only suggestion would be to keep the theaters a bit warmer, since it did get quite cold during the showing towards the middle of the film. Otherwise, I have no complaints, and I am...
Read moreI’ve always like this theater, but lately things just haven’t been good. Recently we have seen Doctor Strange, Elvis, Thor, and Top Gun. They continue to be out of medium size bags for popcorn so they force you to get the bigger one and pay a higher price. While we were there seeing top gun the movie was late starting and it was the wrong movie on the screen(Jurassic world). Today while we were supposed to be watching Thor the movie started late and the movie wasn’t centered on the screen. Two people went to ask why the movie hadn’t started and the characters heads we’re in the top curtains during the movie. When I asked someone to fix it I figured that would be no problem. No one ever fixed it so we had to watch the movie that way. I hate to be a “Karen” but when you are paying $30 to $45 it’s just too much to overlook...
