Taco Bell — Restaurant in Wilkesboro

This location is atrocious. Wether it's on DD or ordering in person, they will always prepare something incorrectly or completely leave it out. If my son didn't have such a taco fetish I wouldn't even bother spending my money here, especially with everything being so expensive I expect accuracy at least half the time. I mean $4 for one crappy taco??? Just put it in the bag!! Every single time I order more than one item they leave something out and someone either goes hungry or I have to go all the way back to the location, which is a hassle. Every time. Nothing is ever offered for the inconvenience and it ruins the whole rest of my day. I literally get anxiety every time I open the bag because I expect something to be missing every time. I went there to pick up an order a couple months back and they were in the window talking about how their manager just left them to run the store by themselves ( a couple teenagers). I work in fast food myself and actually work at a company under the same brand as taco bell and I have to say that this TB and the McDonald's down the road are the worst fast food locations in town . They both bring me SO MUCH anger. At least at the McDonald's the price tag still matches the service. Taco Bell is over priced and they clearly don't...

Fortunately, it seems the current staff and managers are doing great. (I hope it stays this way)

Over the summer, my daughter always swung by before work to grab her lunch.

I really don't want to feel like a Karen, but after 6 or 7 times of either getting the wrong orders, items forgotten, the food being a sloppy mess, (No, I promise it was uneatable) I finally went inside to ask them to correct it.

Even then, it took them 3 times to get it right. (3 beef & cheese soft tacos. ) The manager there only said, "Eh, they're just teenagers."

I was polite and patient because I know things can get hectic, but I figured if our orders are always botched, then I'd imagine they do it a lot. The excuse of being teenagers was not cool.

Again, I hate posting negative feedback, but the GOOD news is that our last visits have been good. I noticed different faces and a different manager, so hopefully, it's back to normal. I hated having to drive 20 minutes out of the way just to go to the N....

I eat here out of convenience since it’s beside my work but for the past couple of months, I can’t get hot food here. I have made five visits here this month at least and have yet to get hot food. My cheese on my flatbread melts, quesadillas, stackers, burritos, etc is always cold and not melted, one time they forgot the meat and toppings altogether on my cantina chicken quesadilla but I let it go. I try to switch it up with what I order and give them the benefit of the doubt but it’s been consistently bad for weeks now. When I went earlier this week I couldn’t even finish my food, the beef was warm but has a weird taste and the cheese is cold and the tortilla has a hot spot, but is otherwise room temp and cheese is not melted? It’s supposed to be a melt - photo attached. It made me sick. The girls at the drive thru are so sweet though so I’m giving stars for that! But please get it together in the kitchen, don’t make us lose...
