We were passing through the cute little town of Williamstown and behold… my daughters, niece and best friend’s daughter starts screaming after catching a glimpse of Miffytown. Apparently this is the only location in the entire US and we needed to make it back from the Ark Encounter before 6pm to visit Miffytown. Not sure why the owner decided to have it here in this small quiet town but I’m glad they did.
Let me start off by saying, I’ve never heard of Miffy but I love the simplicity of the character and how she promotes minimalism. As soon as we got in this adorable decorated store, we were greeted by a sweet lady who gave us a little info about Miffy and how the store came to Kentucky. The kind lady offered children activities to the pack of teenagers that I had. After they spent about 30-45 minutes coloring and creating bead bracelets that spelled out Miffy, they finally pulled out their wallets out and went to town. The lady was such a sweetheart and so generous, she showed us what the top sellers were and practical to the girls, she even gave the girls free coloring books. There is everything of Miffy here. This store is just the cutest!! Visiting Miffytown is a must, if you’re ever downtown of williamstown. It’s just not for kids, but teens, adults… all ages, you will walk out of the...
Read moreI just happened to vist this place outa pure curiosity. I was in town and had had lunch and saw the building and wanted to know what it was all about. When I opened the door I was pleasantly surprised and instantly transported back to my childhood. The store was fantastic and while I hadn't previously heard of the character Miffy, I fell in love. I was told it is an interactive toy story, they had activities for children and kids at heart as well. The merchandise was soo adorable and very reasonably priced. The staff were just as wonderful very informative and knowledgeable about thier products and super kind. I highly recommend checking out thier store. I will...
Read moreWe stopped by to see what this place was. It's a play store for kids. They have activities, movies, blocks, a projector with a huge screen. It's free for kids (they do have a merchandise section) to come and play. Kinda like a kids community center? It's clean, the staff sanitizes a few times while we were here.
Apparently they have these everywhere in Holland where the owner is from. Since the states didn't have a Miffy town, he made one.
10/10 recommend. It's too hot these days for playgrounds but this place is nice and air conditioned to let my kiddo play.
Today's event was planting spring flowers in ice cream cones. Which is...
