Good Vibes Beauty — Attraction in Willowick

I asked for a trim and some face framing. Stylist said she’d take off 2 inches. I’m not sure if she was inexperienced in curly thick hair or what the issue was, but she took off more than 2 inches. It was more like 4. And the framing pieces around my face are super chunky and unflattering for my hair type. Not to mention the layering was very poor and also choppy and chunky. You should never be able to SEE the layers. Also, my stylist didn’t even know how to style my hair. That’s a huge red flag but at that point it was much too late. I went in feeling pretty blah and just wanted to freshen my appearance. I left feeling worse about my appearance and I am now mentally preparing before I look in the mirror. During the appointment, my stylist said she’d been working there since December, so 3 months. I should have asked if she had any prior experience. I will not...

Everyone that I dealt with was super friendly from the woman who answered the phone and greeted me at front to my nail technician. Olivia was a pleasure to talk to. She explained how the massage chair worked and showed me every single color imaginable. I wanted coral and she pulled out so many shades of coral to choose from. She asked what kind of polish I wanted and explained that gel was $10 upcharge before I selected it. Olivia took her time in making sure the polish looked neat. She even made sure I wanted the hand mask with my spa pedicure and let me choose scent. I would for sure come back and recommend this place to people. Maybe next time I'll get a manicure. I love this beauty shop so much, it’s the best I have been to. Terry the owner is so wonderful, she is a very happy, fun person! She is so great at what she does. Over the years she has also really helped me find what products work best for my hair, which I am thankful for. I have fine, straight hair with not much body, and she sells the Pureology products, and recommended the hydrate sheer line, which is perfect, cleans and hydrates without weighing my hair down. And the 21 spray is awesome I love it so much! I have been seeing Emily for haircuts and highlights and she is awesome also. I always love how she does my hair, she is a very talented, kind person.
