Anthem Skatepark and Board Shop — Attraction in Winona

Couldn’t be more perfect! Buying that first board for your kiddo can be a little intimidating. I put it off for months, dreading the lingo I would struggle with and the sticker price that might make me feel stupid. But not here! Instantly they knew what “place” we were in our journey of thrashing. The whole family at the shop felt like relatives.(the ones you’re happy to see, lol) Lindsay and Zach chatted with my son about the different options, revealed clear pricing options with respect and helped him pick out the perfect first “real board”. And what a smile I had watching Lindsey build the board and include my son in each step so he could learn too. Ummm I think I’ll ask her to come step in as mom for me on some days:). My daughter got her deck about a year ago, we got her fully set up today. What a great experience, we were given shown many options for her set up. I’m new to this, I felt lost when it came to what she needed, so grateful for the knowledgeable staff and the patience for all my questions. I highly recommend, the other skaters were respectful and not intimidating at all. Great hang out for skaters of all ages.

I loved that they also sell local handcrafted soap and dried flowers. This definitely appealed to my hippie soul.
