The experience me and my fiance’ had here left a bad taste in my mouth. We coordinated to have engagement photos done here with our photographer who has taken photos here many times. We arrived and learned there was a wedding going on which forced us to have to change our plans. Most places would educate you that you need to plan in advance and ask you nicely to leave but the employee who spoke with us was very rude and condescending. I told her that we would wait until the photographer comes so my fiance’ and I could tell him that the parks was closed and she insisted that she needed to tell him that. She went back into the greenhouse and when he arrived she interrupted me when I was explaining to him that we could not take photos at this location today. Furthermore while we were looking at alternative locations she was driving near us on a cart to make we were leaving. We had no intentions of doing anything but leaving and if you ask somebody to leave nicely they won’t get offended. When you rub it in and act tough to people that aren’t pushing back against you at all it rubs many people the wrong way. The gardens looked beautiful from what I was able to see but if the employees are going to treat you like that over a misunderstanding I will not be...

Beautiful place, educational signs scattered over the property. Spent most of a day there, plan to go back. We had some good food at the sandwich shop and a nicely crafted oat milk latte at the doughnut shop. My partner will wants to go back just for the donuts. The fabric store is a real gem, if you are a crafter prepare to get a very enthusiastic education on any item in the store. Careful not to get lost on the trail through the woods. There is a small trail at the back of the property that connects to some private property. It becomes obvious, you’ll start to see some back yards, just turn around.

Only caveat for us - We went on a Saturday and there was a wedding later in the day, as you can imagine, the parking lot was very busy with party vendors and guests. The shape of the parking lot and the narrow entrance and exit made the parking experience a...

Always a nice, local place to step outside the city while in the city! Beautiful plants and garden, my pics here are in the fall but the greenhouse still has lots of beauty to see and it’s nice to walk around! You can see plants labeled from all over the world and learn more about horticulture and types of plants! They have a large variety and many plants we have never seen or heard of! Also a great place if you are trying to pick plants to do landscaping or decoration with at your house or property! You can also buy plants and the welcome center is nice, staff was pleasant and they have gifts and souvenirs you can buy! This place is free to enter and explore. Great place for a picnic too! There are also restaurants and stores to visit and enjoy...
