We became members of Berryessa after our first visit to the tasting room in dt Winters. The tasting room is very nicely designed with a simple elegance. The various varietals are very good and the pours are generous. Good choice of charcuterie boards and a nice addition if you're looking for some apps to go along with sips. Linda is very friendly and lovely to visit with. I didn't get the name of her partner but she is also very nice, friendly and both are great representatives of the winery. PS: I should have written more clearly; this was not our first visit to the tasting room, but we did become members after our first visit. Read moreOk; so i,m partial. I happen to be employed here as a wine assistant. Being retired and desirous of a cool place to hang out with friends while having our favorite beverage...wine! Lo and behold here in this quaint early boutique town we found our spot. It was not long that we became members. The good feelings abound here. The vineyard, winery and tasting rooms are owned and operated by a long-time local family. The wine is very good but affordable and you can sit outside comfortably and enjoy it during these pandemic days....
