Wolcott Lions Club — Attraction in Wolcott

We went to the CT water glow fest at the fair gounds. The main lot was full so the directed us to a lot in the back.wait in traffic for 40 mins to get three cars away To be told the lot is full. Then went back to a baseball field back parking lot for a shuttle to pick up and drop off. We'll the line for the bus was over an hour wait time. They only had two busses. Lots of people were there,they should have spent for more busses. The said drop time to throw the balls in was 730, nope , 830. And by that time it started to rain Then another hour wait for the bus back When we got to the lotit was pitch black dark, no lighting was...

My son got married and used the Wolcott Lions Club as the reception venue. Merl was a pleasure to work with, always available via phone and easy to coordinate with in person. The venue itself was clean and prepped for the arrival of our decorator and catering company. Both halls on site were being used during the time frame and there were no issues with parking which is always a plus. All and all it was a lovely setting for the reception. They are reasonably priced, accommodating with a really pretty back drop for pics.

I would definitely recommend and will absolutely use again...

Atmosphere is beautiful. Hall is small but very spacious. Beautiful pond in the rear. My husband and I cam for a wedding this past weekend and was slightly jealous I didn't host mine here. We had a wonderful time. Plenty of parking for guests and the hall has plenty of room outdoors if you had wanted to do something outside as well....
