Garret Mountain Equestrian Center — Attraction in Woodland Park

Some of the people that work are very nice the women are so nice to talk to, it’s like you known them for along time, you joke with them laugh, & the horses knew who I was when I pulled up “THE CARROT LADY” & the owner Sarah is very nice & Pleasant easy to talk to & SHE LET ME FEED THE HORSES WITH NO PROBLEM!! There was another gentleman there that we got along very well I believe his name was Franco not sure I don’t remember he always MAMA , he was very very nice to me always HELLO & HUG…I MISS GOING THERE, MISS SARAH, THE GIRLS, FRANCO, THE HORSES!!! THE REASON WHY I GAVE THEM ONLY ONE STAR IS BECAUSE OF THIS ONE GUY WHO I DONT KNOW HIS NAME BUT I WILL DESCRIBE HIM HE’S A SHORT WHITE GUY WEARS GLASS, WELL HE SAID THINGS TO ME THAT I HAVE ASK EVERY HORSE OWNER IF I CAN FEED THE HORSES CARROTS, I AM GETTING TO CLOSE TO THE HORSES BY PETTING THEM & GIVING THEM A LOT ATTENTION, GIVING THEM KISSES ON THERE HEAD!!! AND I DONT KNOW THE POWER OF A HORSES BIT, KICK, ETC…AND THE OWNER OF THE HORSE WOULD WONDER WHY THEY ARE NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO THEM!!! WELL LET ME TELL YOU PER SARAH OF GARRET MOUNTAIN EQUESTRIAN CENTER & THE GIRLS & FRANCO THAT WORK THERE 95% OF THE HORSES ARE OWNED BY SARAH!!! ALL OF THIS HAPPENED ABOUT 8 MONTHS AGO!!!

I HOPE THAT THEY GOT RID OF THE SMALL WHITE OLD GUY, BECAUSE HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TALK TO PEOPLE AND YOU DONT KNOW WHAT PEOPLE ARE GOING NOW A DAYS!!!!

This is my new favorite place! Trail riding is a joy here as unlike most New Jersey trails, these are not so ridden with huge rocks. I have gone three times so far and they take me on a different route every time, which is nice for me as well as for the horses. The staff is great, very friendly, knowledgeable and flexible (you don't have to always have an appointment to ride) and anyone can tell that the people who work there not only love what they do but they really love the horses too. This is great place for ANYONE to ride - no matter your ability or interest (English or Western) - they will be able to pick a great horse for you to ride and spend some time with. I have tried other places in New Jersey and this is by far my favorite because of the staff, trails and indoor and outdoor facilities - not to mention all the great events they have for their students. I am adult but they have a lot going on for kids with lessons, shows, trips to rodeos, contests etc. What a great place for a young person to spend some time! I would trust any of them with my own daughter and can't wait till she is old enough to...

This is the worse horsing class center I bought package for my daughter 11 classes the first two classes was ok with the coach Krysta after she change my daughter coach for someone name Ali this guy give my daughter bad directions he almost let my daughter fall from the horse and this was not the first time my daughter riding horse she was assistance to Leonia center but i move location and that's the reason I change schools, I complain they start call me and cancel my daughter classes every time with every excuses, One day they call to cancel again because the weather they said center was closed. And my friend daughter went to take class the same day with Mrs. D they just cancel my daughter classes for no reason and the said is no money back but then cancel every time my classes I ask every time for the owner or manager Mrs. John and she never around I'm sure she don't have any idea about my situation because the coach don't want me to speak to her.
