Lambert Castle is a historical landmark located in Paterson, New Jersey, that offers a unique and intriguing experience for visitors. As an avid traveler and history enthusiast, I had the pleasure of visiting this remarkable castle, and it left a lasting impression on me.

Upon arriving at Lambert Castle, I was immediately captivated by its stunning architecture. The castle's grandeur and picturesque setting on top of Garret Mountain make it a sight to behold. The castle was originally built in the late 19th century as a private residence for Catholina Lambert, a silk manufacturer and prominent figure in the Paterson community.

Stepping inside, I was greeted by a wealth of historical artifacts and exhibits that chronicle the rich history of Paterson and its surrounding areas. The museum housed within the castle showcases an impressive collection of artwork, antique furniture, and various items that offer insights into the city's industrial past. The knowledgeable and friendly staff members were always available to answer questions and provide additional information, enhancing the overall experience.

One of the highlights of my visit was exploring the observation deck on the castle's rooftop. The panoramic views of Paterson and the surrounding countryside were simply breathtaking. I was able to take in the beauty of the Great Falls, which played a significant role in the city's industrial development. The observation deck also provides a unique vantage point to appreciate the architectural details of the castle itself.

The grounds surrounding Lambert Castle are meticulously maintained, offering a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. There are well-maintained gardens and pathways that invite visitors to take leisurely strolls and enjoy the scenic beauty of the area. It's an excellent spot for nature lovers and photographers looking to capture the castle's splendor from different angles.

Another aspect that impressed me was the dedication to preserving the castle's historical integrity. The restoration efforts have been commendable, allowing visitors to step back in time and get a glimpse of what life was like during the castle's heyday. The attention to detail and the preservation of the original furnishings and decor added to the authenticity of the experience.

One thing to note is that Lambert Castle may not be as well-known as some other tourist attractions in the area, which can be a benefit for those seeking a quieter and less crowded destination. However, it also means that the castle may not have as many amenities or services available on-site. It's advisable to plan accordingly and bring any necessary supplies.

Overall, my visit to Lambert Castle in Paterson, NJ, was a delightful and memorable experience. Whether you're a history buff, an architecture enthusiast, or simply looking to enjoy some beautiful views, Lambert Castle offers something for everyone. It's a hidden gem that deserves recognition and is undoubtedly...

Went to the Christmas craft fair. The castle is not open for exhibition because of the craft fair and everything has been removed due to the fact that they will be closing as of January 1 2020. Renovation will take up to 3 to 5 years. I love going to this Castle when it is open for visits and actually seeing the castle itself and just being in there I really love and being outside on the grounds. The people at the craft fair weren't really that friendly except for the greeter at the door and the prices were normal for craft items and some were very reasonable My favourite was the Vintage Room items and ceramic light trees for sale. They have some very beautiful vintage stuff and great baked items. They will hold a craft fair at another location over the next few years until the castle reopens. As for me I can't wait for the castle to reopen again. Btw the wine and cheese event was only on opening night not now. I did buy a raffle tickets for...

I went during the holiday shop. Which had personalizing options for ornaments and other things. It had a wide array of items. Homade things and candy, sports team memorabilia, antiques, scarfs, gloves, coats, and unique jewelry. There is an elevator you have to walk through the first floor to get to. It has a food truck supplying a Cafe set up on the 3rd and highest floor. I loved looking down into the other 2 stories while sipping on cider. Ordinarily it is a museum with statues, paintings, stained glass and and information on local history. The outdoor terrace has a gorgeous view of the NYC skyline. What seems like the backyard has a park or hiking trail I haven't been on yet. You can arrange to take professional pictures there and I saw an elegant proposal being set up by the fountain with rose petals and candles. Unfortunately the museum will be closed for necessary...

The final committing move out of Honeymoon Chimney is WILD and if you’re not careful you’ll end up like Steve here who is rumored to still be stuck in this full stem today. I’ve watched this video 100 times since it was taken and still laugh out loud every single time. I had myself worked up to tears on top after this video ended. A beautiful and perfect day in Castle Valley where we linked up Honeymoon chimney, Castelton Tower, and Fine Jade. What an interesting site. Right in our own backyard! Some of the rooms inside the castle were inaccessible, but there was enough there to see not to even notice. Featuring 3 levels of historic memorabilia. Worth the visit and the short drive up to the tower uo on thr mountain acoss from it.
