Ordered a $60- meal on Door Dash. Had high expectations. The food arrived lazily placed in a flat tray. I guess nobody read that I was a cripple. I wanted the food hooked on the door knob. But no ... It came in the lazy man tray. First the dasher left it on the porch. Then I got him back to hand it to me. Wellllll... I have one hand holding on so as not to fall. U tried negotiating this lazyness with me other hand. Of course the tray collapsed and my $60- went all over the floor. ( I have to wait until Monday for a clean up) I contacted Door Dash ... They will get back to me. I called Amore. Oh well ... It's for dash fault. I am a senior, cripple and ob a fixed income. This restaurant has a very arrogant, uncaring young girl tell me ... Not our fault. Call Door Dash. With this type of attitude, do you think I will ever recommend or order from here again. This is laziness. Too hard to decently pack in a bag. It is prevalent in arrogant pizza places that want to save money. If they are this lazy and arrogant up front, what goes on in the kitchen? Food dropped on the floor? Old food? Who knows. One can only imagine. I'm sure this doesn't go on. Different people cook and others "pack." I guess . I cannot recommend. I wasn't even able to...
Read moreDo not go to AMORE!!! Can not believe how we were treated this evening at Amore. We made a 5:30 reservation for 10, over 2 weeks ago to celebrate the upcoming wedding of our children, at the Westmount Country Club. We arrived at 5:20 and were told we could not be seated because the owner gave our table to another large party! Who would do this? We traveled 40 minutes to have both families celebrate, together. When I asked to speak to the owner, he refused to speak with us and stayed in his hiding place, not having the decency to at-least apologize. What kind of place is this? How could an owner of a business treat people like this? Where could we go with a group of 10 expecting to enjoy such a special event and eat last minute , on a Saturday night. We couldn’t get another reservation and the evening was ruined. You are a disgrace and people should not stand for such behavior from anyone! There are plenty of good Italian restaurants and this is one you should AVOID and not stand for such inconsiderate treatment! DO NOT GO TO AMORE!!! There are plenty of other restaurants to choose from, one’s who treat their patrons with human decency and respect!!!...
Read moreCentre of the Italian culture, Amore Restaurante serves great representations of the classic beloved foods of Italy. Located in Woodland Park, NJ - both reservations and walk ins are welcome. I've seen couples, groups of 5, large parties come to this restaurant, it is great for celebrations and special events. The food they serve here is explicitly wonderful to simply put it. For sparkling water lovers, I am glad to say that the restaurant serves the classic and well known Pellegrino bottle for their choice of water. They also serve wine, and beverages on the side upon requested order. The servers are very patient and informative as to which items are on the special for the night. The environment inside the restaurant is welcoming and warm, with greetings right as you enter the doorway. Only downside is they have specific times in which they open throughout the week so I would make sure to check their open hours online before traveling (i learned the hard way!) Overall, a great restaurant with fine dinery, a welcoming environment, and beloved foods for the...
