Very small, intimate beach that is great for families. Parking is very limited and $20 if you do not have a resident sticker. If you aren’t there by 11 am it’s unlikely you’ll find parking.
During low tide, it is perfect for little ones to explore tide pools and you can do long walks out onto the sandbar. There is a short boardwalk that takes you over the water and allows for some nice pictures. No food options nearby so make sure you pack snacks. Lifeguards are also stationed here though the water is pretty shallow and you aren’t going to see any waves.
Watch out for the sand gnats though. If you come out in the morning or dusk when it is cool, prepare to be swarmed. They’ll disappear once it’s warmer and the sun is out.
There is also a launch for boats and kayaks though limited parking for trailers. If you like hiking there are a set of trails nearby that are amazing.
