Yarmouth Shopping Center — Attraction in Yarmouth

This is an easy in and out lot that can be accessed from. Two sides, with a red light at the corner. There are actually two different, but abutting, shopping areas or strip centers. On one side facing Station Ave you have a Stop & Shop (not super store size..so has everything but easy and fast shopping..I shop here regularly) plus there's a liquor store with cheap prices open till 11 pm and a Verizon store, a Dominoes Pizza and others. On the Whites Path side there's a True Value hardware, a famous huge eye doctor place (my eye do for is in there...its huge and they do every test imaginable..this isn't a place where you buy frames, it's eye tests and doctors. There is almost anything you'd need in this shopping spot, including a small medical supply place where you can rent medical equipment or just buy supplies like gauze or ace bandages, etc. I personally have been a customer at every place I have mentioned above...easy access, good parking....oh yes, there's a Cape Cod 5 bank on the very corner ...free standing, full service but it also has 2 or 3 drive thru lanes. I bank here...great people and great service...easy access. By the way, this whole shopping area is just a few hundred yards from Exit 8 on Rte 6 so the road to it is always plowed...

My fiance and I were in town on a weekend get away. We went to the bakery section. I had a sweet tooth. I asked the girl behind the counter for a small cheese cake. I walked away to get more stuff. Little did they know my fiance was watching them struggle with something. It was a packaging for the product. They came to a solution, they picked one out of the trash can, out of view they thought. My fiance works in a bakery and looks at the reflections off the glass all the time too watch her cases. I was handed the product in the container from the trash with a new label attached. My fiance looked at me during check out and said don't forget where you come from. I looked at her and said I saw the manager telling her to do it. She laughed as I gave it to the cashier and said I will pick this out of the trash later. I refuse to pay for items that come from the trash. She said this isn't the first time someone saw the bakery department doing stuff like that! I dislike reviews of this nature, but too stoop too this level too...

The selection at this one, as compared to other Cape Cod Stop & Shop's, isn't always the best & sometimes I have to go to the one near Swan Pond to find what I'm looking for but this store has some absolutely WONDERFUL employees! 🥰 One of the manager's, I think his name is Kevin, is very nice & you can tell he cares about his job & employees! Definitely has become not just a place to get my groceries but a place to see familiar faces that put a smile on my face! Thank you to the Station Ave Stop & Shop for being my go to place for the past year! You are all so...
