I have been here a couple times in the past but on this occasion came to see Dirty Dancing Live in early March. It’s located on the Penn State York campus. The volunteers/staff were all friendly. I know there is a little cafe downstairs but I’m not sure what they have or how much it is. I’m pretty sure there is no alcohol being served. The seats are mostly comfortable. Space between seats is enough to be comfortable with longer legs. The audio is good. For this specific performance the sound set up may have been different from a bigger band set up but that’s just a guess. Getting to the campus and parking was easy enough. We parked in the maintenance parking spots for a 7:30pm show and no one bothered our car, but as soon as we backed in others shared our risk, safety in numbers? The seats were very comfortable and the view seem unobstructed no matter where you sat. If I had the option in the future I would try and snag tickets for the seats on the sides, top or bottom levels, as they are regular cushioned chairs and no one sits beside you. There is no food and drink allowed in the theater, which can be understandable considering how well kept it is, but the cafe seems slightly pointless if you're just...
Read moreThis was my first time here, and I have to say it's a really great venue! The building itself is lain out really well and allows a nice flow of people to easily navigate between each other as everyone funnels to the exits. The auditorium has great acustics, and I don't think there's a bad seat in the house! Parking filled up pretty close to showtime, so you may end up parking in the boonies if you cut it close, but otherwise I highly recommend attending an event here! We saw Josh Gates live tonight, and it was an excellent show!! Will definitely come back here again for...
