I have ordered from here for many years. Just for example of the last few times: 12/18/22 09/05/22 08/25/22 07/07/22
This time, I requested delivery at 4:15, the driver arrived at 3:48, and this was after arguing with her on the phone for 5+ minutes, as they apparently couldn't find my home. I explained I have had deliveries here for years, and she proceeded to tell me they do no deliver this far, and that she has been delivering for 25 years with Papa Johns. I advised her I will not argue, and will state facts: Papa Johns has delivered to my home MANY times over the past few years, let alone past few months. Then while standing on my porch waiting, the driver is asking what roads to turn on, and I tried to advise them as best as I could with directions. They said they were on my street, and I asked what color their car was. She said Red. I said ok, do you see the black honda civic in front of you, they proceed to say, I am the honda. Guess they are color blind?
I called in and spoke to a "manager" who once I asked to speak to a manager, and she claimed she was, I had to ask her name, as she didn't even answer the phone politely. I proceeded to explain my discontent, of which I got, well it didn't come through as a plan ahead order or whatever she called it. She did apologize about the driver, but the overall experience is enough to say, I will NOT be ordering from Papa John's again. I will order Domino's or just pickup local small business pizza shops around me.
That driver is also lucky I provided a 25% tip, it was actually going to be more until this asinine fiasco. Avoid this place, the extremely bad reviews are...

In which I realized right away, the bacon cheese breadsticks did not have any bacon on them. I called the Papa John's on Queen St. The male worker asked if I wanted a refund. I told him no, that I would like the correct breakdsticks that I had ordered delivered. He said ok, they would be here in 20 minutes. 8:47pm they correct order was still not here. I called back to ask where the breadstick order was. A young male worker said he was the "manager". He said that he was sorry, that the order was on it's way. He said that they only had 1 driver and that they were using Doordash. I recieved a phone call at 9:05pm from a male with a girl in that back ground, they both laughed and hung up. I tried calling back, there was no answer. At 9:11pm, I called the store again. I asked them if they even made them, bc they still haven't been delivered. The male that answered said that we wanted a discount. No we did not and that I told him that at this point, whenever they are delivered, they are going to be cold. I told him to make the correct ones again and have them redelivered fresh and hot! At 9:19pm, the breadsticks were delivered. The delivery person put them on our sidewalk out in the cold and left in a white jeep. Did not knock on the door or call to let us know. Of course the breadsticks were cold. 11:00pm, still no breadsticks and they are closed. They lost this customer!...
Read moreOwner is clearly too lazy or incompetent to hire a real delivery driver. Door Dash is not a substitute when ordering directly with the store. They continually destroy orders. This is not a complex issue to correct.
Just as an update as of 9/6/2025, the store told me a refund was being processed multiple times and never fulfilled it. I'm still waiting for a response from the franchise owner. Personally, I would be embarrassed if this were my businesses. But it seems as though the attached images are considered acceptable to this store and Papa John's as a corporate franchise.
I also discovered the excuse for using Door Dash. Apparently they were not able to hire anyone to deliver for them. Which does make sense since they have no listings posted for delivery drivers as of 9/6/2025. The other stores in the area do. Perhaps this store should reach out for advice on how to post a...
