It's right next to Pizza King so you could stop to grab something to eat after going to the park. Morrows Meadow is the home for the Yorktown track team. It lays right up against The White River, it's a good place to go canoeing but not to go fishing. It has a giant open grass area, great for playing sports such as kickball or baseball. Most of Yorktowns events are held at Morrows Meadow, one year the Colts held a fanfest here at Morrows Meadow. It's my favorite place when the 4th of July comes around. They hold a giant 4th of July festival that I go to every year. They have lots of thrilling rides and lots of food. When it's around 9:30-10:30 pm they light off an amazing firework show. They have a butterfly habitat that no one can go in but you can look at it. Following the path there are exercise stands which have different excersises to perform. Read moreI can't do this place justice with words, you just gotta go check it out. Here goes, we parked on the end, walked down one side and up the other. Very little multiple booths. Local honey, the best for allergies suffering. By eating the bee pollen in the honey, your body builds a natural resistance. A ring of baby goats! Kids and adults go in and interact with with live baby goats! I taked with the egg folks for a bit, the farm is not far from me, who knew? I can get farm fresh brown eggs for $4.00 a dozen now. Everything and everyone is local. And the Yourtown library has a booth in the center. Oh! I forgot the food trucks and food vendors on site! No event admission. The only issue I had was restrooms.
