Paddle Jax Amelia — Attraction in Yulee

Did our very first kayaking tour in Amelia Island/Jacksonville.

Kerry was our tour guide, we opted for the 9:30am 2 hour tour. She greeted us with a mask and sanitized equipment which definitely was a huge plus to me. Of course you don't need to wear the mask while paddling since there's a good amount of distance. She had great fun facts about wildlife and nature, very friendly and personable. We never felt awkward or uncomfortable at all which I'm really thankful for, customer service is a really important to me and she definitely had it down pat.

Also don't underestimate her, her upper strength is admirable. I wouldn't want to be slapped by her hahahaha, as a person who box here and there I definitely got tired pretty easy compared to her 😅

My family of 4 had our own private tour with Chris, who was very patient and informative about the local plants and animals. Kayaking on the creek is not difficult at all and is a beautiful, peaceful way to spend the morning. It takes about 2 hours round trip. There were no bugs, which was great. The kayaks were nice and easy to maneuver. A bottle of water was provided up front, and we had a selection of granola bars to pick from after the trip. The owners are AWESOME!!!! Whether this is your first time kayaking or you’re a pro this was an excellent trip! Mr & Mrs Foster made us feel completely at ease and safe. Lofton creek was beautiful and so peaceful with plenty of wildlife to see! Mr Foster was very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out so many things we would have missed! Not to mention the pictures he took of us! Lofton creek was also an easy enough paddle and creek that had we chosen the self guided option we would have been completely fine as well.
