Starbucks — Restaurant in Florida

Around 2:30 pm (9/9/22) as we were checking out a young man around his maybe early 20s who was working at the Starbucks counter was talking to a target worker and very loudly said “guess what the queen is dead” which is fine to talk about but then loudly exclaimed “SHE DEADDDDD” to the female coworker and was laughing about it like it was a big joke. Everyone in the register area heard it and it was very disrespectful. He then made eye contact with my mother knowing she heard it and quickly looked away. So he knows what he said was wrong. On my target run we stopped for an icee, Rayle was working at Starbucks and asked how we were while my kid was filling her cup. I was a little tired as my kids had been sick recently , she asked me when their bed time was and suggested a coffee based on when I would crash and then offered to pay for it.

I genuinely appreciated the gesture , I was obviously having a rough day and I was instantly smiling the moment she offered. It is interactions like these that compel me to write reviews because they are genuinely deserved by outstanding employees working in customer service with empathy and care for customers .

Whoever the lady who worked at Starbucks on May 18 during the morning hours, around 10:00-10:30 wasn’t very nice at all. I ordered the Caramel Ribbon Crunch and I know the drink comes with the caramel ribbons and caramel unfortunately this barista told me they don’t add the caramel or ribbons on top, but only the bottom at this location which doesn’t make sense since I order this every time I come to Target.
