First time here. We had a flight. My favorites were the Cools Mcgee (I could be misremembering the name of that. It was a beer tasting after all. Lol), and the Purple Nurple. Now, I'm not a beer connoisseur, but my husband is. He liked the IPA's and the stout with the Madagascar vanilla beans.
The bartender was friendly and could answer every question we had with zero hesitation, even when we asked which beer sold the most. He broke it down into which beers sold the most by month, and beyond.
From a non-beer-drinking woman's perspective (that's me. Lol) I noticed that the bathrooms were immaculately clean and had a nice decor. I didn't feel like I was going to catch hepatitis sitting on the toilet seat.

Read moreSJ Brewing was a just place on the map we wanted to check out and we were so glad we did. It's a small cozy brewery and taproom in a storefront on a busy street. We arrived at a good time in early afternoon and we were able to talk at kength to the friendly bartender, Cam. He was informative and made our visit enjoyable. There was a selection of about a dozen beers on tap and each one we tried was somewhere between very good and great. We also enjoyed seeing their beer can collection with many cans from the 1980s, including the Knoxville World's Fair series of cans, and Billy Beer, which referred to President Jimmy Carter's comical brother, Billy. It was great to see these cans in great condition all these years later.. we will stop here again and try some more SJ brews the next time we are...
Read moreGreat people and excellent beer!.... In response to the negative review, the owners are doing it all. They have not only have poured their hearts into starting this new business, they are also running it. They are both very personable people but also not quick to get into your business. If you'd like to "talk" then simply approach them. I've visited every week since their opening and never felt unwelcomed. Many breweries do not serve food but unlike many of the other popular places (mainly places I've frequented in Jax Beach) they are giving away free snacks. I can understand this is new to many locals but long over due. Thank you SJ Brewing Co for picking Yulee, Fl (of all places) to start your business, you're doing...
