If you come to Danang and stay near the beach this is one of the most popular attractions. You arrive at the base of the mountain and are greeted by dozens of stores all selling sculptures and trinkets made from Marble. There will be many competing traders asking you to come to look at what they sell in the hope you will buy something.
At the entrance to the mountain there are two options to enter. You climb by stairs for 15K entry ticket. Or you take an elevator for another 15K. Note: it is one way so if you want to come down again on the elevator you will need to get another 15K ticket at the top.
It's not so far to climb by stairs. Once you get to the first landing level there are some statues and building to visit. Continue to climb and you will arrive at the top where you can enter the Heaven cave and climb through it to eventually reach the summit. From here you can view the sea or the inland side. You might be approached by traders at the top selling drinks and goods. Others offer to show you the way to the top and then ask for money for helping.
Once you have visiting all the places in the park you will have climbed enough stairs that you will have earned a rest. There are plenty of good places to sit down and rest and some cool shade There is a toilet at the top in case you need it.
The views are good if the weather is clear. There are many interesting things here to take pictures of. You can use up a couple...
Read moreLet me tell you about this incredible pagoda I just visited in Da Nang - Non Nuoc Pagoda. It's tucked away on Marble Mountain, which isn't too far from the city center, but it feels like a whole other world. The climb up was a bit of a workout, with lots of stairs, but totally worth it.
As soon as I stepped through the entrance, I was hit with this wave of tranquility. Lush greenery surrounded the pagoda, and the air smelled faintly of incense. The architecture itself is stunning - intricate carvings and vibrant colors everywhere you look. There were these amazing natural caves that had been turned into little shrines, with Buddha statues tucked away inside. It felt really special to explore them and whisper a quiet prayer.
But what really struck me were the people. There were local worshippers dressed in their best, families with kids running around, and even a few other tourists like myself. Everyone seemed so peaceful and respectful, and there was this real sense of community. It wasn't just a tourist destination, it was a place where people came to connect with their faith and find some inner peace.
By the time I left Non Nuoc Pagoda, I felt completely rejuvenated. The climb, the sights, the atmosphere - it all added up to an unforgettable experience. If you're ever in Da Nang, I highly recommend making the trip up to Marble Mountain. You...
Read moreIts not free, the tickets are different if you wanna use elevator the price is high, if you wanna walk then you gonna pay half of that price it's like 40k for one as I remember. This place has so many things to see, small caves and old stuff, but it's very crowded some of the places are are very small and too many people. Sometime you need to wait for others to pass. They have named each place with a different name, The sea watching Tower and River watching tower is nice but the heavenly tower or something similar to that name there was a place. That place was really amazing. Unfortunately I went on a Sunday, it was so so busy. I waited long long time to click a picture. There is no good at the top, only a small shop that sells ice cream and water. The prices are really high at the top. The last cave we saw was really amazing, I felt like a Chinese movie it was little wet due to the rain but the place still has that ancient touch. If you go by a motorbike you have to park it in a park or at a shop so when you come down you buy something from them as a support. I just gave them a tip because buying would cost me much more. Because they are saying...
