Venice Grand World in Ocean Park 2 is a lovely spot that brings a touch of European charm right to the heart of Vietnam. The canal, bridges, and Venetian-inspired architecture are beautifully done, and the atmosphere is especially magical in the evening when the lights reflect off the water and music drifts through the air. It’s a great place for a stroll, taking photos, or simply soaking in the surroundings.
There are plenty of cafés, restaurants, and shops dotted along the canal, making it easy to spend a few relaxed hours there. The gondola rides are a fun touch – not quite Venice, of course, but a charming experience nonetheless. The place is clearly designed with visitors in mind, and it’s very family-friendly.

There isn’t a whole lot to do there, but riding down the canal on a góndola (150-180k each), and visiting a couple of cafes was quite fun. It’s a good place to go if you have young children, as they have a couple of parks nearby as well.
Getting the shuttle bus there was extremely easy and free, however getting back was an absolute nightmare as they don’t seem to have a direct bus going back to the opera house and we ended up having to get 4 different buses as most of them just didn’t turn up. Grab also wasn’t working whilst...
