Quán Nhậu Tự Do Mega Grand World — Restaurant in Hưng Yên Province

We had a very disappointing experience at this venue. Despite the restaurant being almost completely empty (around 95% of tables were unoccupied), we were refused entry immediately upon approaching the hostess. Without checking the reservations book, she abruptly said “no.”

We explained that we only wanted to buy a few drinks at the bar, but she insisted the venue was “fully booked.” This was not the case, I filmed the premises at the time, clearly showing rows of empty tables during what is the off-season.

When the manager came over, his behaviour was also unwelcoming and aggressive. He refused to let us book for a later date, claiming the restaurant was “fully booked for the foreseeable future,” which was implausible given the obvious lack of customers.

This left us feeling very uncomfortable and singled out. Based on our experience, I would advise other travellers, particularly women, to avoid this venue. Poor service, unprofessional management, and a refusal to even engage with us as...

Stunning view and location, but the service was absolutely horrendous, amateur and very very unpleasant. The food was ok, we didn't order a lot but the mood was already ruined by a bunch of lazy unpleasant, unprofessional staffs.

We went in at late noon, but too early for dinner, so clearly just for a quick drink and snack, they told us they were all reserved despite being super empty... After some quick talks, we sat down, ordered our stuffs, took them about 4 times, 4 calls... Their staff were unfriendly, 2 girls just standing and laughing with each others instead of keeping an eyes on the guests (so we had to call them). The main guy's answers were short and just seemed very careless. Like a bunch of untrained part-timers, below mediocre. They only started to "work" once we really showed our annoyances, and we tried to be polite allll the time.

The view is great though. Really hope the owners do something about it....

It was our first night in Hanoi, and we decided to come and visit this place and dine here. It was also my best friend's birthday, and she treated us to dinner at this restaurant. We were a bit nervous about ordering the food because it seemed like no one spoke English. Good thing Google Translate was so helpful at that moment, and we were able to order the food that we wanted. The staff were so nice and respectful, and we really appreciated their effort to answer all of our questions about the food and patiently type all their answers into the Google Translate app. The ambiance was awesome. Although it was very cold last January, we still enjoyed our dining experience. The food was tasty too, although it got cold easily due to the cold weather. Overall, it's a nice place to dine when you get to visit Mega Grand...
