KHIÊM LĂNG - LĂNG VUA TỰ ĐỨC CÔNG TRÌNH LĂNG TẨM ĐẸP NHẤT THẾ KỶ XIX CỦA TRIỀU ĐẠI NHÀ NGUYỄN Sẽ thật thiếu sót nếu bạn đặt chân đến Cố đô Huế mà không thăm lăng Tự Đức. Quần thể lăng tẩm này vừa trở thành di tích lịch sử đầu tiên của Việt Nam góp mặt trong bảo tàng số hóa 3D của Google Arts & Culture. Lăng vua Tự Đức hay còn gọi là Khiêm Lăng nằm tại thôn Thủy Ba, phường Thủy Xuân, thành phố Huế, nằm bên phải đồi Cảnh Vọng thơ mộng. Đây là một điểm đến hấp dẫn khách bậc nhất trong số các khu lăng tẩm của vua chúa ở Cố đô Huế. Tháng 12 năm 1864, công trình được chính thức khởi công xây dựng, dưới sự góp công của hơn 6000 lính và thợ tập hợp lại để đào hào, đắp lũy, xây thành quách và lăng mộ. Ban đầu, vua Tự Đức lấy tên là Vạn Niên Cơ nhưng sau cuộc khởi nghĩa Chày Vôi do anh em Đoàn Hữu Trưng khởi sướng, ông đổi tên thành Khiêm Cung, sau khi vua mất gọi là Khiêm Lăng. Chữ Khiêm trong Khiêm nhường. Đúng với tính cách của vua Tự Đức, ông vua thi sĩ nổi tiếng về thi thơ, khi ông để lại cho hậu thế hàng ngàn tập thơ hay...! Quần thể kiến trúc này tọa lạc trên tổng diện tích 12 ha, gồm gần 50 công trình lớn nhỏ trải dài và hầu hết đều có chữ Khiêm trong tên gọi. Lăng gồm hai phần chính: tẩm điện và lăng mộ, được bố trí song song với nhau. Bước qua khỏi Khiêm Cung Môn là cửa tam quan hai tầng. Tại đây, du khách sẽ được chứng kiến những công trình kiến trúc đẹp mắt nằm trong khuôn viên của lăng. Đi qua Vụ Khiêm và miếu thờ Sơn Thần là khu điện thờ. Khiêm Cung Môn hiện lên như một thế đối đẹp mắt với hồ Linh Khiêm. Ở đây, người ta hay thả hoa sen – những bông hoa giản dị, mộc mạc. Không chỉ vậy, giữa đảo còn có các hòn đảo nhỏ để người ta trồng các loài hoa hoặc nuôi thú. Cảnh sắc nơi này tựa như mọt bức tranh cổ điển đầy màu sắc với những cây cầu bắc qua hồ nhỏ, với những hàng thông xanh rì trong gió,… cho du khách trải nghiệm cảm giác trong lành, thoáng đãng. Bối cảnh lăng Tự Đức Huế không khó để bạn có được những bức hình “sống ảo” đậm chất cổ trang. Bước vào trong Khiêm Cung Môn là không gian nghỉ ngơi của nhà vua nên cầu kì về kiến trúc cũng như không gian xung quanh. Chính giữa đó chính là điện Hòa Khiêm, là nơi vua ngồi làm việc. Hiện tại, đây chính là nơi đặt bài vị của vua và hoàng hậu để dân chúng có thể đến đây để tham quan và thắp hương. Sau điện Hòa Khiêm là điện Lương Khiêm, là nơi nhà vua nghỉ ngơi, hiện là nơi thờ vong linh của mẹ vua Tự Đức. Một điểm đến cần đặt chân tới đó chính là nhà hát Minh Khiêm, nơi vua hay ghé tới để xem hát. Đây là nơi mang đậm dấu ấn văn hóa của thời kì vua Tự Đức, khiến không ít du khách cảm thấy vô cùng thích thú. Để phục vụ cho du lịch của khách trong nước và nước ngoài, hiện nay người ta vẫn thường tổ chức những buổi trình diễn văn hóa, văn nghệ vô cùng hấp dẫn. Vượt qua khu tẩm điện chính là khu lăng mộ. Di chuyển tới Bái Đình bạn sẽ được tận mắt chứng kiến hai hàng tượng quan viên văn võ rất hùng dũng. Ngay sau đó chính là Bi Đình với tấm bia đá nặng 20 tấn khắc bài Khiêm Cung Kí của nhà vua. Đây được coi như một cuốn tự truyện của nhà vua về cuộc đời mình. Ông tự nhận tội mình: “Không sáng suốt trong việc biết người, ấy là của ta; dùng người không đúng chỗ, cũng là tội của ta; hàng trăm việc không làm được; đều là tội của ta cả…” và ông nhường cho sử sách đời sau đánh giá công, tội của mình...! ————————— Ảnh: St Biên tập nội dung: Hue Viewers #hueviewers #vietnamprojectsconstruction

A really delightful and peaceful place to visit with very few other tourists. These tombs are so much more than just a tomb, they are complete landscapes carefully chosen (some took years to even plan) and then built as a little piece of heaven on Earth. Somewhere where the spirit of the Emporer would be happy to spend eternity. I was certainly happy to spend an afternoon here. It is a surprisingly large area with landscaped hills, lake, waterways, woodland as well as the beautiful buildings. Dress appropriately for the temple elements. Walk off to the quiet corners and enjoy the peace as well as discovering something new. There is repair work all over this tomb but not enough to spoil your visit by any means. However, the other tomb a few hundred yards further down the road was completely shut due to renovation work (mid December 2018). A word of warning about travel I used an app to get a ride out here but it didn't work to get back in to town for some reason (too far out perhaps?) Thanks to the other couple who let us share their car back in to town!

Spent about 45 minutes here, would reccomend reading up on the history before arriving, getting a guide, or having some info downloaded to read at the site as there isn't much in the way of explanation. Didn't get the audio guide that is offered for a fee because we found it wasn't super helpful at other sites we visited in Hue. The buildings are beautiful and have an interesting history from what we overheard from guides. It is alittle far from other attractions/the majority of hotels so if you're going alone would reccomend getting a grab bike if you can, or bargaining with a taxi if you can't. I really enjoyed feeding the koi in the ponds (5000VND for a sizeable bag of fish food) bring water with you as there is no where inside to buy it but you can also get it from vendors outside (along with some souvenirs and miscellaneous tourist items like bags and hats if you want).

Ticket : 150.000 dong / person which really expensive.. i expect something more. Like they should hev to use tho moneys to hire pp to clean the trashes and taking care more of the temple/ pagoda in here. Pretty sad.. But anw, beautiful landscape/ lake / forest/ etc. The map was clear (ez to understand). This mausoleum had a thousand years history behind, really interesting to hear about it. Enjoy your moment in here. Took around 3 hours to visit and take pictures. ( Tipps : Oh if u had motorbike, be careful with the woman in front of the enter door. She will tell u that she will watch out for your bike free. But then after went out ( after visiting) to take bike, she will insist u to buy some of her drink. If u don't buy it, she charged u a lot for the bike. Literally u allowed to park there but they try to scam u.. freaking annoying! )

13명의 황제들 가운데 가장 오래 통치(1848~1883년)한 응우옌왕조 제4대 황제 뜨득 황제의 무덤이다. 그의 재위 기간은 35년이다. 뜨득 황제가 직접 능을 설계했고 1864년에 공사가 착공되어 3년에 걸쳐 1867년완공 되었으며, 완성된 후 16년 동안 황제가 자주 이곳의 연못에 있는 정자에서 낚시와 시를 즐겼다고 한다. 생전에는 이곳을 별장으로 사용하다가 사후에는 묘소가 되었다고 한다. 생전의 업적으로 그는 중국의 과거시험 제도를 도입하였고고 전국의 젊은 인재들을 관직에 등용하는 등 개혁주의적인 성향의 지도자로 평가하고 있다. 그렇지만 황제인 뜨득은 쇄국정책을 쓰고 기독교를 탄압하는 정책을 대대적으로 진행하였고 선교사, 성직자 등을 처형하여 프랑스로 하여금 침략의 구실을 주게 했다. 이후 프랑스와의 전쟁 및 불평등 조약 등에 의거 식민 통치를 받게 되거나 명목상의 황제로 전락하고 만다. 그의 제위기간 중 프랑스의 침략이 본격적으로 이루어졌었고, 식민지로 전락해가는 베트남을 막을 수 없었다. 이러한 이유로 베트남 사람들은 프랑스 지배의 빌미를 제공했다하여 응우옌 왕조에 대해 좋게 평가하지 않는다. 흐엉 강(Song Huon)의 물줄기를 따라 7명의 응우옌 왕조의 황제릉들이 있다. 그중에서 민망, 뜨득, 카이딘 황제의 릉이 관광객들 사이에서 필수적으로 방문하는 유적으로 알려진다. 민망 황제의 릉과 뜨득 황제의 황제의 릉은 숲과 연못이 어우러져 왕릉보단 별장에 온 것 같은 기분을 자아내며, 무거운 분위기 보다는 다소 여유로운 자연 경관을 느낄 수가 있다. This is the tomb of Emperor Tuc Duc, the 4th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, who reigned the longest among the 13 emperors (1848-1883). His reign was 36 years. The tomb was designed by the emperor Thu Duc himself, and the construction began in 1864 and was completed in 1867 over three years. It is said that the emperor often enjoyed fishing and poetry in the pavilion on the pond here for 16 years after completion. It is said that this place was used as a villa during his lifetime and became a tomb after his death. As a result of his achievements during his lifetime, he introduced China's past examination system and appointed young talented people from all over the country to government posts, and is evaluated as a reformist leader. However, the emperor, Thu Duc, used a policy of seclusion and suppressed Christianity extensively, and executed missionaries and priests to give France a pretext for invasion. Afterwards, he was subject to colonial rule based on the war with France and unequal treaties, or became a nominal emperor. During his reign, French aggression was in full swing, and Vietnam could not be stopped from becoming a colony. For this reason, Vietnamese people do not evaluate Nguyen dynasty favorably because it provided an excuse for French rule. Along the banks of Song Huon are the tombs of seven Nguyen emperors. Among them, the tombs of Minh Mang, Thu Duc, and Khai Dinh are known as must-visit ruins among tourists. The tomb of Emperor Minh Mang and the emperor of Thu Duc are harmonized with forests and ponds, creating a feeling of being in a villa rather than a royal tomb.

I really enjoyed visiting this place despite the extremely hot and humid weather. The tomb site is actually a big park with a lake and a pavilion and a few other buildings that were used as a private retreat for the emperor during his life. The grounds are beautiful and there is a feeling of peace and serenity especially since it wasn't as crowded as other sites in Hue. The story of the emperor Tu Duc, who was unable to have children, is a sad one, especially for a society like Vietnam where family and children are the most important aspects of life. So he planned and built his own tomb, and even wrote his own epitaph. As a side note, he isn't actually buried here but in a different unknown location somewhere in Hue.
