Morning Glory - Hue Local Restaurant — Restaurant in Hue City

!! AVOID this place!! we went there on June 2022 for a late lunch and the service is poor and dishonest, food hygiene is REALLY terrible. please avoid this restaurant. here are the reasons why:

SCAM FOR MONEY : when paid the bill, the woman asked us for more money, pretending that the drinks were twice the price. we had to show her the menu again to pay the right amount. She didn’t say anything and didn’t apologize. BAD HYGIENE : see picture, we found a bird/chicken feather in our cooked vegetable. That is UNACCEPTABLE. DISHONESTY : the woman who owns the restaurant gave us a « tourist » menu, hide the local one. UNTASTY FOOD : we ordered a fried rice with vegetable and egg. the dish came without vegetable. we also ordered a fried noodle with veggies, it...

Delicious local home-style food! We went in the evening, after visiting the incense village. It was so cozy and the food was well prepared, a great price, and served by a very sweet lady. We had fried rice with egg and veg, chicken with rice and veg, and vegetarian noodles. Plus warm cups of green tea to finish off our excellent meal. Definitely perfect if you like a comfortable, traditional vibe that's outside of the main tourist areas....

We had a tasty quick meal after visiting the Tu Duc tomb. We took a vegetable fried rice, fried noodles with beef, a coconut and a big bottle of water, altogether for 190k vnd.
