Pinehill Tu Hieu Homstay Meditation — Hotel in Hue City

Absolutely gorgeous country home in a (relatively) quiet hilly neighborhood outside central Hué. A bit far from most things, but perfect for visiting Ni xá Diệu Trạm nunnery and Chùa Từ Hiếu monastery affiliated with Thich Nhat Hanh. Especially nice to be so close for (very) early morning meditation at Ni xá Diệu Trạm.

I admit was a bit confused by the name of the place, thinking it was an actual destination for meditation itself, so if you're like me do note there is no obvious space for meditation, yoga, etc on the premises. It's nice villa with beautiful garden. the villa is huge, and the room is well equipment. It is located near Tu hieu temple which Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh stay, just 5 min of walking you can see beautiful lotus lake, it's not city centre, it's very peaceful place. The host is friendly, she can speak France, English. she even buy sweet tea for us when we arrive the house, and the next morning she already prepare traditional breakfast, also she made us wonderful latte with good quality of Robusta which she and her husband select...

We had a very pleasant stay, the house is gorgeous and Nhi was very accommodating. The surrounding coffee shops were quaint and nice, walking to the town is an enjoyable stroll. It was a bit strange that there was a missing pane in the bathroom door which sacrificed the occupant their privacy, hot water ran out quite quickly if one wanted to have a bath, and at 7 am the gardener would begin a really loud lawn mower which was difficult to ignore.
