Definitely a place that is gonna flourish in few years! Place is new and tidy, with some restaurants and a few shops. Still many buildings uninhabitet, so I think it is still little bit work in progress. We visited one evening between Christmas and New Years. Did not see many menus in English, so Google translator Lens was needed. Likewise, not many workers spoke English, but they were super keen on helping the best way they could, by Googling photos of drinks and dishes to show, if we did not know what they were. It was heart-warming actually to see that some of them pushed themselves to practice interactions in English. I think this is gonna be a buzzing plaze for tourists in a year or two.
BBQ Beer garden had a drink called upside-down Strongbow: recommend you try that. The paintings on the ceilings of the pier are gorgeous. Also I'd like to give shoutout to a man working on a gift shop near parking lot, who was EXTRA helpful for us when we were trying to order a taxi. He really...
Read moreThe pier is nice to walk along and the beach seems to be quite clean year round. The biggest problem for me is the parking for motorbikes. Bikes are forced to park on a gravel area behind busses with nobody watching them. It seems very unsafe. Anybody could steal something from your motorbike such as a helmet, jacket, etc. and nobody would know. Why do us motorbike riders need to pay so much to pay in such an unsafe area? The parking gets 1 star and the pier and beach gets 5 stars for me. Due to the parking becoming worse than what it originally was I won't...

This place seems to be mostly out of business. Most of the spaces are empty, and only a few shops and restaurants are open. Runam was the only decent but over priced resturant that was open. There's a Baskin Robbins, but it doesn't have Baskin Robbins ice creams—only sells Bellany ice creams(Why B-R sign?). Despite all these, they still charge for parking, which is absurd. Shouldn't it be free to attract more visitors?
It's definitely not...
