Litan Hotel — Hotel in Bashkia Sarandë

After a long six-hour drive from Tirana to Sarandë, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff upon arrival. They helped us with our luggage and guided us straight to our room. Our first impression of the room? Simply fantastic! The space was beautifully decorated, well-maintained, and had a luxurious feel. When we opened the balcony doors, we were greeted by a breathtaking view that we will never forget. That view alone makes the Litan Hotel a phenomenal place to stay.||The room was cleaned daily by the housekeeping staff, who ensured everything was always spotless and perfect. The bathroom was also excellent, equipped with all the essentials I needed for a comfortable stay. Honestly, I have nothing negative to say about my experience.||The hospitality we received from this family-run hotel was exceptional. They made us feel completely at home—like we were part of the family. Their warmth and care throughout our stay were truly heartwarming, and it was hard to leave!||Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was a highlight, with seating offering stunning views over Sarandë. The food was outstanding, and it was evident that each dish was prepared with care and love. The chef, a lovely woman, made every meal absolutely delicious. The menu had a wide variety of options, and I enjoyed everything I tried.||The restaurant also offered a selection of cocktails. If you love cocktails, you must try the “Final Cocktail.” It was so delicious that we ordered it several times throughout our stay. During our four-night visit, every evening ended with a couple of delightful cocktails, all while soaking in the spectacular views.||A special shout-out to Joni, who made our stay unforgettable with his dedication to hospitality. He prepared our cocktails with love and served every meal or drink with a big smile.||Even when we checked out, they kindly gave us refreshments to take with us for the journey.||The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with anything we needed, no matter the time of day.||This hotel truly made my stay in Albania perfect. Litan Hotel is absolutely spotless, lovely bedding made up every day and fresh towels. My wife was provided with a spare coloured towel to help stop her hair dye going on the pristine white towels ( super helpful ). The views are to die for across the bay of Saranda. |Great friendly service from all the family members who run the hotel, happy to help with questions and recommendations. The owner, the young lady on reception and the owners nephew in particular are super stars.|The location is in the quieter part of Saranda and you need to be fit enough to walk up and down steep hills to get to the town or nearby beaches ( or invest on taxis at £10 each way to town, £25 to Ksamil each way or £15 to mirror beach ). The bus is too packed to get on anywhere near the hotel so a walk into town is necessary for that.|Breakfast at the hotel is plentiful and caters for all tastes, very nice indeed. We ate at the hotel one night and the food was at least as good as anything you get in the restaurants of Saranda. |Great base for trips, recommend watching the sunset at the nearby Sole Terrace.||Would recommend and would 100% stay again, a...
