⚠ Date - 26.07.23 My first coming to Albania with my wife and a friendly couple. First restaurant choice (load nearby location) and first FATAL mistake.

🛑 The restaurant is really high up and SOME of the tables have a nice view (which is hidden by plastic curtain) BUT the service and food was TERRIBLE. It is important to note that we sat down for lunch, around 2 pm, and there were 3-4 occupied tables in the restaurant, out of a total of 20 by my calculations.

1️⃣ First: We sat at a really dirty table that was NOT cleaned and a table cover was NOT put.

2️⃣ Second: We ordered two salads two seafood mixes and one meat mix. It turned out that the meat mix was out of stock. The salads came after 30 minutes and the main after 60 minutes which is UNACCEPTABLE.

3️⃣ Third: The quality of the food was TERRIBLE!

4️⃣ Fourth: The price is totally not worth it! Seafood mix which included 1 small fish fillet, 2 OVERCOOKED and unpeeled and uncleaned prawns, 1 small tube of squid, 1 BURNT octopus tentacle cost 1500 Lek. The next night we paid almost double for 3-4 times more food both in quantity and types and overall impression at least 5 times tastier.

A poor food experience for many reasons.

Unorganized service. We received our drinks at different times and we needed to remind the waiter of the orders. Our food also came at different times (about 20 mins between dishes).

Inedible food. We ordered the grill mix, where the pork chop was dry and the chicken was completely raw in the center. The vegetables that came on the side were also not cooked enough and the smell was unappetizing.

We made the staff aware that the chicken was raw. The staff did give us dessert to compensate, which we did not ask for. Although this was a nice gesture, our trust in the restaurant was lost at this point, as well as our appetites.

SCAMMING behavior from staff. When paying for our meal, we received the wrong cash amount back. We were supposed to receive 5100 lek, but instead received 4000 lek - therefore it’s hard to believe that this was a simple mistake.
