I saw good reviews, my hotel is near the place, so i decided to try. I ordered as a starter a chicken souvlaki, was not bad but nothing to write about home, I ordered together with that a moussaka and a glass of white wine. The owner of the place does not speak well English and did not understand that I wanted the moussaka after the souvlaki or forgot because she brought me the bill without the moussaka. When it arrived it was bitter and not eatable. I went to pay and that is when I saw that for a glass of wine, she charged 350 lek, normally is between 100 to 200 a glass of wine, i am travelling already in Albania 2 weeks, this is the first time, I was so disappointed. So, if you are asking me, do not go there, their are plenty of other places in Sarranda which...

Not only was the food absolutely delicious—with each dish bursting with authentic Mediterranean flavors—but Anna also took the time to teach me the proper pronunciation of “Gyro” Yee-row adding a fun and personal touch to my visit. I’m from Chicago we have a large Greek community and we say Gyro. But since I’m in Europe next door to Greece I want to pronounce it correctly. I enjoyed a delightful conversation with her while taking in a stunning ocean view that perfectly complemented the meal. The entire experience was both affordable and wonderful—a true gem if you’re in the area. Highly recommended for anyone seeking Greek food and warm...
Read moreMy husband and I have dined at Greek Souvlaki twice since arriving in Sarande a week ago. The seating is right beside the water, so you will have a relaxing, picturesque view of the ocean during your meal. The service was outstanding. Our server spoke English well, so it was very easy to communicate with her. Above all, the food was delicious! Our server shared with us that the owner gets many of her ingredients from her own farm. Fresh ingredients are extremely important to us. After ordering the mixed grill, we decided to top off this great experience with a tasty dessert- crepes filled with chocolate and topped with strawberries. We will definitely be coming back to eat at Greek Souvlaki during our...
