Hotel Los Angeles — Hotel in Gualeguaychu

To be honest, we didn't have high expectations for this hotel (it doesn't look great from the outside!) but we were pleasantly surprised. We hadn't booked in advance, just walked in, and the girl at reception was so friendly and helpful we just decided straight away to stay here rather than looking anywhere else. It's quite a dated place, but charming too - we liked the really old fashioned lift you have to open manually! Our room was basic, but fine - clean, reasonably comfortable bed and decent hot shower. Wifi was a bit up and down. We found the room a bit warm (they had the heating on full blast as it's winter!) but it was good with the window open. Breakfast was excellent - yoghurt and cereal and fresh fruit, as well as the usual bread, cakes etc. The lady at breakfast was extremely helpful with showing me the ingredients of things when I asked (I have an allergy) - this seems to annoy a lot of hotel staff but she was very nice about it. They were relaxed about breakfast time and check out time - we really appreciated that they allowed us to check out late at 12 pm without paying any more. There was a bit of noise at night from the lift, which has very loud announcements of each floor, and from the church clock outside (it strikes every 15 mins, loudly... but this isn't really the fault of the hotel!). Overall a good experience - would recommend to anyone who happens to visit...

Came for the Carnival, which was about a 20 min walk away. Located in the middle of town and convenient to Omnibus in Gualeguachu (but a long ways from the other bus station, Parado El Tague). Very nice and helpful front desk, nice breakfast area and good food. Room OK but very thin windows so you hear the band playing near by until 3:30 AM (only on weekends). Pool on roof is more like a kiddy pool. When we checked in their was a less expensive room available than the one booked and this saved us some money! All in all, we were happy...

Hay WI fi. Para estacionar ell hotel sólo tiene 4 espacios cubiertos para dejar el automóvil por orden de llegada pero la Zona es tranquila con bastantes lugares disponibles para dejarlo en la calle. Lindo hotel, chico, pero con los servicios necesarios, Excelente la calidad de café expreso en el desayuno y variedad de panes, ademas hay medialunas, tortas, frutas enteras, yogurt, todo riquísimo. Excelente atención del personal a toda hora. Todo limpio y ordenado. Shampoo, acondicionador y secador de pelo hay que solicitarlo en la recepción al igual que la llave para el Gym q está en el 5to piso y control del AA. En el 6to piso se encuentra la terraza con una pileta pequeña pero linda, hay parrilla, mesa y baños. La vista a la ciudad desde la terraza es espectacular a toda hora. Está abierta siempre sobre todo para aquel que fuma es una buena opción. La ubicación del hotel es muy buena xq en los alrededores hay de todo lo que se necesita. El tiraje del agua en las duchas es fuerte para darse un excelente baño. El colchón cómodo, TV con cable, ventilador, calefacción y aire acondicionado. Ascensor siempre disponible, tiene acceso a silla de ruedas. El precio es acorde, aclaro que nada es lujoso pero lo recomiendo para una...
