Runa Moraira Apart & Spa — Hotel in Mar de las Pampas

Runa Moraira is an apart hotel complex, located a sand dune away from the beach. It has kind of a "round" shape, with large old trees within, and the open pool in one of the sides. You can hear the sound of the sea from the complex and from the apartments. ||The rooms are very comfortable, we stayed in a small apartment of 42 square meters. The bed was a supersized king, with lots of pillows (softer ones, harder ones, larger and smaller), with soft bedding. The kitchenette had all cooking utensils you could need, and a small under-the-sink fridge. There was a large jacuzzi for 2 people in the room, and also a 2 sink lavatory, shower and bathroom. ||Breakfast was great: tasty and complete (toasts, cakes, scons, medialunas -local pastries-, assorted fruits, jam and cheese, coffee, milk, teas, yoghurt and fresh orange juice).||Last but not least: there is entertainment staff and a playroom area; the spa circuit is very good and the views, are gorgeous...

We booked the accomodation while travelling in Argentina two days before our arrival. One day before we were supposed to check-in and just before we got on the night bus, we received an email saying that we had to make a deposit of 30% of the price. This was not mentionned on Booking. This would be ok if you book two months in advance but this was not our case and it was impossible for us to make a bank transfer from our European account in such a short time. So we contacted Booking which managed to cancel our booking and we went for another hotel which even accepted credit card payment! This kind of handling will not bring them many...

Nos encanto la ubicación como las instalaciones del hotel en general. Queremos destacar el desayuno impecable, completo y riquísimo, las chicas de la cocina super amables y atentas, el servicio de limpieza también, todo perfecto. La recepcionista de la tarde/noche Cintia un amor, super atenta y amable. El sereno también, a pesar de que no era su tarea, nos respondió super amable cuando mencionamos la falta de agua caliente, y se ocupo de pedir que lo solucionen. Tiene un camino propio al mar, super cómodo, un parque bellísimo, y la sala de juegos también, cómoda y equipada.

Particularmente en nuestra habitación fallaron varias cosas: El jacuzzi no funcionaban los jets, y cuando lo solucionaron, salía un olor bastante feo. El agua caliente fallo un par de días, hasta que también, lo solucionaron. La señal de la tele era mala, se veía todo borroso (eso no se soluciono). El wifi tampoco andaba bien, y para los que teníamos que resolver cuestiones laborales era un problema. Tampoco nos gusto la atención de la chica que esta en recepción durante el día. Nos reclamo el pago (e insistía, por mas que le dijimos que revise por que habíamos pagado todo por adelantado). Ni disculpas nos pidió por los problemas de la habitación y siempre tenia mala onda. Había leña disponible leña para el hogar... pero estaba húmeda, así que no pudimos encenderlo.

Nuestro apart tenia algo raro que era la ducha toda vidriada que daba al resto de la habitación. Al tener confianza en la pareja no hay problema, pero la habitación es toda vidriada, así que había que cerrar todo mientras uno se duchaba. Nos dio risa la verdad, y no es algo que se pueda cambiar fácil, pero para que no repitan ese error "estetico" si construyen nuevas habitaciones.

Valoramos el que hayan solucionado los problemas (salvo el wifi), por que entendemos que son cosas que pueden ocurrir. Quizás con un poquito de mantenimiento previo o chequeo de las...
