This is by far the best place we had eaten at throughout Argentina. Top 10 restaurants of Buenos Aires that you would expect to be better have work to do to get close to this place.

First off, we have been at this place several times throughout our vacation so this opinion is not based on one off experience.

Food: delicious! We have ordered both seafood and meat options and have been happy with the quality, preparation, and servings. Everything felt done with care and love for the cooking craft. It is difficult to describe but we had left with the feeling that people at this restaurant love their food.

There’s something to be said about the sizes of the portions — very rich. I’d be surprised if there’s a person who can eat at this place and consistently clean the plates. Everything is double or triple of what you would ordinarily expect in western restaurants.

Atmosphere: spacy, lively, and at home. You can see people come here to have great time enjoying their food and it’s very cozy and fills you with warmth. There are occasional gasps when first timers discover the size of their lamb BBQ, but people genuinely look happier here, especially when they had their food and that is putting this place on a very different level than vast, vast majority of the restaurants.

Service: waiters here are astonishing. Very professional, quick and warm. Half of the atmosphere is them making this place cozier with their overall presence. They are engaged with their customers, actually visibly enjoying being there and that translates to so many smaller things. One evening I got surprised by how delicious my drink was and made a visible head nod to my partner, which was, apparently, noticed by the waiter. Next thing I know when paying the bill, that drink was on the restaurant. Things like this make the place stand out among others, make you wish to come back and put a smile of admiration on you face and in the world of fast moving money making this ought to stand for something.
