As per the name, this is a creaky wooden house in a quiet part of town, about a 10 minute walk from the centre. Although the building is modest, the staff are wonderful and were very patient with my mediocre Spanish. They keep it extremely clean, even removing shoes at the entrance. There is hot water on request but Iguazú is so hot and humid that I never asked for it. The air conditioners work but are noisy -- I would turn mine off sometimes. The WiFi was reliable and fast enough for YouTube videos before bed. There is a bus stop two blocks away with buses to the town centre (USD 0.5), airport (USD 3) and waterfalls (USD 4). The dog is also super friendly. Overall, it was a relaxing stay and I was especially grateful for the friendly staff. My only suggestions for improvement might be a few hammocks in the shade and an electric fan in each rooms to accompany the air...
Read moremy staying in this hostel was the best thing that could happen! everything was awesome! it's a small rustic hostel with everything you'd need. The service was perfect, great advices from the owner Belén, a Bar with nice drinks, information about the waterfalls and the transportation. So far for the technical things but best things for last. I can't thank everybody there enough for the best time, the warmth, the laughter, the talks and the invitations. Belén, Marcelo, Lojan, the cutest dog Mórro and especially their volunteers Ariel and Juan Ignacio made my staying in Iguazú not just special but to the best experience I've ever had in a hostel and probably in general. We had so much fun together and with the other guests. I hope so much to see all of them soon again and can sadly do nothing more than to highly recommend the hostel to everyone out there!...
Read moreGood location - not so much for the centre of town but when you are there just to see the falls you don’t need to be in the centre. Also you avoid the expensive restaurants. The hostel is a few blocks away from a bus stop which takes you to the falls. It is also only 3 blocks walk from Tres Fronteras. The owners and volunteers are really nice. Lovely dog called Morro who comes to greet you at the gate every time you come home. The kitchen has everything you need. There is a mini market 1 block away and a bigger cheaper supermarket about 4 blocks away. Hot water in the shower.
