Most of the hotels in Salta seem to cluster around the main plaza, and the Hotel La Giralda is one of them. It's situated about two blocks from the plaza, near a number of ATMs (always handy) and on a busy street. I stayed there for two nights during a stay in Salta and found it perfectly reasonable. ||The rooms are simple and clean, although there was a little bit of a musty smell when I first entered my room. Read moreEasily the worst hotel I have stayed in. Shower flooded the bathroom, towel had a hole in it, toilet leaked (I had to fix it after every use), and the air conditioner did not cool the room. No showerheads on the shower. Meager breakfast - coffee was weak and on one morning the milk was rancid - one could see it congealed in the coffee. Read moreOk so not everyone has a good day but the girl that works on the front desk had an attitude best described as poisonous. The hotel is clean and tidy and if you get a room at the rear in 19 or 20 you will have a peaceful evening. This is a budget hotel and we anticipate a few issues with bathroom water ect.
