Bixi Coffee House — Restaurant in Salta

Giving this one star to write my review. Otherwise they don't even deserve this.

TL;DR

One of the worst places I have eaten at. Tasteless food, extremely bad coffee, stale bread, way too many flies inside, no sauce in the burger, neither any ketchup available for the fries.

My wife and I went to the place after seeing the high rating. Asked for a latte and got a vending machine coffee. It was pathetic.

Ordered a chicken sandwich and a veggie burger. We had specifically asked for no bacon on the chicken sandwich. Spoiler alert, it came with bacon. There was no sauce in the sandwich or burger. Just filled with tomatoes. The bread seemed like it was months old. It was crumbling apart. We asked for hot sauce or ketchup or anything really to salvage our lunch, they did not have anything. Great coffe house with exceptional desserts. I ordered a pancake with dulce de leche and oporto syrup, something very orignal and incredibly tasty. I wasn't expecting such a great surprise in, what I had considered, an ordinary coffee place. All cakes looked really delicious and they are making them themselves everyday, so cakes are super fresh. Also, quality of coffe is very high. I wish I could spend some more time in Salta so I would be able to come back everyday in order to try all of their desserts and...

So we have been to couple of breakfast/brunch cafés in different cities in Argentina during our trip, but this one was by far the worst. The price of the breakfast was very low, but so was the quality. We ordered a "Paradise breakfast" which basically was just some dry bread with scrambled eggs and i had a Ham & Cheese Sandwich which was not even really hot. The waiter forgot about the sandwich and brought it 15 minutes after my girlfriend had hers. The coffee is also nothing special. Do not go here...
