Teghenis Resort — Hotel in Tsakhkadzor

We stayed at Teghenis Resort, cottage 17, for two nights during a family trip in mid-December. The view from the cottage was fantastic, and the overall experience was pleasant, but there are a few areas for improvement.

The cottage is equipped with a cozy fireplace, and firewood can be purchased from the reception for 5000 dram. However, a lighting kit isn’t provided, so be sure to bring your own. The kitchen is well-equipped, including a microwave, making it easy to prepare meals. There’s also a grill and a patio table with four chairs for outdoor dining.

On the downside, the cottage had some maintenance issues: the walls were marked and scratched, and they could use repainting. The pillows were larger than I’m used to, which may not suit everyone. Additionally, no complimentary water or coffee was provided, which would have been a nice touch.

Other points to note: • The driveway and entrance can be slippery in snowy weather, so take caution. • While a TV is available, there were no local or international channels, which made it essentially useless. • Tsaghkadzor Ski Resort is conveniently just a 15-minute walk away.

Overall, it’s a decent option with great views, but a bit more attention to detail and maintenance could make it...

Beautiful Paradise & Amazing Hospitality Staff Are Extremely Hardworking Polite Customer Friendly knowledgeable .. We came all the way to experience their amazing hospitality from UAE Abudhabi , excellent service, cottages are spacious we had a duplex rooms , we enjoyed our 3 night stay our kid’s & they loved it also the staff are amazing especially Ms. Ani was so kind & helpful as we forgot to bring our power bank & charger but Ms.Ani including all receptionist were kind enough to lend us their powerbank & charge our phones anytime of day with their charger .. Kindness was beyond our expectations , Loved their positive vibe. Spectacular View full of greenery. Highly Highly Recommend Teghenis Resort .. Kids will love it hygienic & super easy to cover zip line & ropeway. You feel safe just like when live in UAE.

Breakfast starts around 9 am which we felt is a bit late as we had to travel other places sightseeing early .. Also hope they have some varieties Indian / Arabic Cuisine on our next visit ..

Fantastic view over the creek. Tsaghkadzor Ski Resort is just a 15-minute walk away. Make sure you have turn on the heating for your cottage. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are considerably small. Wood for your fire place can be purchased for 5k amd. While getting your food delivered from the restaurant is much better than having your food there as it is filled with fried fish smell which was extremely pungent. We were glad that we didn't book our stay with breakfast. We managed to order pizza and pasta from the restaurant which opens its doors at 9 am. Room service are available, however a male staff was suddenly inside the cottage along with other ladies and was asked to leave. Receptionists are friendly and helpful and would reach out to you through WhatsApp for scheduling housekeeping. Check and check out was extremely swift and easy. Our experience was pleasant and the walk up to the telefriek rope is worth it and enjoyable. Make sure to get yourself equipped with snacks and properly some food, water and wood plus fire starters...
