I have never seen such a lovely Holiday Park. Just make sure you sign in at the front. Very Strict rules and increases in cost if you don't bring linen, it's something like $12 each including babies and children. You cannot use the pool or the jumping pillows unless you are a visitor - fair enough. If you would like to ride on self propelled sit down adjustable bikes (cool as) that costs money too, pay at the front office. Check all the rules and follow them. Ignore them at your own peril. Especially use of the toilet. Talk about spending a penny. If you have to go to the toilet as a visitor You will have to pay to use them. Go to the front office first and pay the fee. One thing which was the coolest and strangest thing is that if you want a pizza You gotta bring your own toppings and they will make it for you. They should have an option for those who don't have time to get toppings. Beautiful Park, take money and follow the rules. #brucesplanet

Never stayed in a caravan park before so this was going to be a first experience. My wife and I had a fantastic time. The holiday park has everything that a family could possibly need with mini golf, pizza making, games area, huge magnificent pool with shade sails and jumping bags for the kids. Lawns and gardens were a perfection to see. We had a 3 bedroom cabin for 5 days. The room was very well appointed with a great lounge and a good sized tv. All the rooms were fantastically clean with towels etc all available. We used the onsite BBQ which was very clean and easy to use. The icing on the cake for us was the Sunday night river cruise. Its was spectacular, with a 3 course meal which was lovely. The sunset and the cliffs topped it off. Overall a truly fantastic place to go. Rob & Deb, Parkside SA

MINI GOLF REVIEW- Best mini golf course I have ever come across. It is immaculate, very aesthetically pleasing, great design and each of the 9 holes is surtounded by lush professionally landscaped gardens. The course takes you on a little adventure as you cannot see one hole from the next and you are emmersed in the tropical plants as you meander over bridges, across waterways and up and down hills. No other mini golf course I've played at across Australia comes close to this beautiful facility. You do not have to be staying at the park to enjoy this facitilty making it perfect for all travellers and locals alike. Just ask the friendly staff at the parks front office to pay and collect your clubs and golf balls.

We met friends with their caravan at this park and stayed in a "deluxe" two bedroom chalet. The park is very well maintained and there are plenty of amusements for kids, though in our case that wasn't applicable; I just mention it for the information of others. The laundry facilities were good, though there was some confusion about which dryer was connected to which coin machine as they were not individually labelled.|Our chalet, though classed as deluxe was, we thought, rather basic and was not very roomy. There was no space in the main bedroom for suitcases: there was barely enough room to walk around the bed, and there was limited wardrobe space. We were there for a week and wanted to mostly unpack, so we used the second bedroom for that. |The second bedroom was even more compact, with two single beds against the walls and bunks folded back above them. There was a small wardrobe in between the beds, but I cannot imagine where four people, even kids, would be able to store their clothes if they were there for more than a couple of days.|The equipment in the chalet was good, with the usual amenities such as a stove with oven, microwave and a small TV. There were plenty of utensils and other appliances and we had everything we needed. The reverse cycle air conditioning worked well - as Berri was experiencing extremely low temperatures at the time we were thankful for the heating. Unfortunately the lounge was very tired and saggy.|The main thing that bothered us about the chalet was the lack of privacy. They had block-out curtains for pulling across at night, but during the day people could see straight in because there were no net curtains or screening blinds on any of the windows. It was an issue in the main bedroom particularly (It didn't have curtains, just a roller blind), because if we rolled up the blind in the daytime, people walking past the back of the chalets (they did this quite often rather than use the road out the front) could look straight into the bedroom. We chose to keep the blind down during the day because we didn't want anyone looking in and it was very dark, of course. The photos on their website show net curtains on all the windows, but there are none on any of them now as far as I could see.|We used the camp kitchen when barbecuing with our friends, and the kitchen nearest their caravan site did not have yellow lights so bugs were a big problem even though it was cold.|We went to the Wednesday Pizza Night that they put on regularly, and were supplied with bases to add our own toppings then they cooked them for us. Had it not been so cold and windy it would've been very enjoyable, but you can't do anything about the weather.|Overall this is a very nice holiday park, but as I have mentioned, there were some problems with the chalet. I could not imagine 6 people being comfortable in one of these units, particularly if they were there for an extended stay. On the other hand, I think our caravanning friends were very happy with their...

Berri and the surrounding riverlands are beautiful, however this park leaves a lot to be desired. There were quite a few issues with our cabin when we arrived, there was crumbs and dirt all over the floor in the front area of the cabin, and there was dirt covering the floor everywhere, after having a shower it didn't take long for my feet to be covered in dirt, there were ants crawling over the walls every now and then, the fly spray can was mostly empty and barely worked, there were electrical issues in the cabin, where some of the light switches and outlets weren't functioning, another person near our cabin had issues with their bathroom light not turning off when they switched their light switch off, the front office closes too early, I understand not having it open later when it's not daylight savings time, but when it's bright outside at 6pm and the office is closed it's very annoying. When we went to pizza night they gave us a very thin pizza base they probably bought in bulk and then defrosted and added sauce, they charged us $10 for it, and then they burnt the sides of our pizza when it was cooked. They didn't cut the pizza all the way through so when we got back to our cabin I checked for a pizza cutter and they didn't have one, so I had to awkwardly cut it with the large knife they gave us.

They built brand new "cabins" to the side of the premium cabins and they look like apartments more than cabins, they don't suit the style of the park, more like a place to live than stay for a few days. They added a fence gate Infront of these units but they keep it locked 24/7, you could at least let residents unlock it with their room keys or give them a set to use or make it a code lock like the bathrooms. My grandmother shouldn't have to walk back to the entrance to walk all the way to the pub if multiple exits that are closed should be atleast accessible. If it's a security issue hire someone to stand there and check if people have their room keys and such.

Overall, the park needs improvement, but it was...

I highly recommend Berri Riverside Holiday Park group stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional properly, facilities and service

We went on a Carers Family Camp. It was focused around family activities. We spent a lot of time in the park itself which is very unusual for us, but there was so much for the kids to do. They enjoyed the mini golf course - which you don't need to stay there to go to. It's very impressive and has music too. When you get a hole in one you can take a photo with the trophy! We enjoyed making pizza in the wood oven. For $5.50 you get a base and cheese. The local Woolies has a great deli for toppings and it cooks in around 3 mins. It was delicious! We usually get a pizza each, but these were so filling we were spoilt to have some for the next day for lunch. The jumping pillow is always a favorite and the kids absolutely spending time on it. There was a smaller playground, my kids were a little too big for, but they were so busy it didn't matter. There was a giant chess which was a favorite too. They have a fire pit which was lovely to roast mashmellows and make s'mores- but Aussies version with twist marshmallows, Arnott's Biscuits nice biscuits and WagonWheels chocolate blocks! All the kids and adults enjoyed them. Lucky we bought a few blocks 😉 The group stay kitchen is extremely impressive too. Every thing we needed was there and there was a microwave in there as well as an industrial dishwasher. The group stay area has blinds and heater in there and is very comfortable and warm at night too. So even at below 5° we were able to stay up chatting away. The pool was impressive, but I think we'll try that out in winter instead! The park manager was such a great guy, one of our own personal appliances tripped out late at night, and it was no trouble at all. He popped round straight away and fixed it all up. We were very embarrassed, but he was so kind about it - we'd definitely...
