Blueys Motel — Hotel in Blueys Beach

This was an nice little motel within walking distance of bluey's beach. The room was small, but cosy. And it was a nice surprise to find conveniences like an iron and ironing board (not that we need it to go to the beach), plates, cups, a microwave and kettle, complimentary tea, biscuits and bottles of water. You'd be surprised to find how many places leave you hanging for little things like these. There was a nice little pool and spa bath, great for relaxing after spending a hot day at the beach. It had an outdoor BBQ available for anyone to use. Although, we never encountered anyone using it but us. There was a Cafe, mini mart, pizza shop and bottle shop right across the street which was great, with a larger supermarket and shops less than 5min drive away. The only annoying thing about the BBQ was that there wasn't anywhere to wash your plates except your bathroom. That's a little awkward, but not enough of a reason to stay away. The room had free Wi-Fi and streaming channels available, but we couldn't get Stan working. I'm not sure if you were supposed to use your own accounts. Netflix was still logged in under someone else's name. We didn't enquire. We stayed 3 nights. I could have stayed another night happily. The kids loved it, and I would recommend it to others. Might not be a bad idea to check about the streaming subscriptions if you are...

Blueys Motel is a fantastic place to stay and even as I write this review I'm still here as I extended my stay as it's such a great place to stay.

Mark the owner is amazing and genuinely lovely guy to deal with and I will definitely be coming back, next time with the whole family.

Have thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the easy going and relaxed and very accommodating staff and owner have made it even more enjoyable with their friendly nature and their smiling hellos each morning when they seen you.

Not to mention the area it's in within walking distance to some amazing beaches and also the sandbar which is just a short 5 min drive down the road which is a must see when you stay here.

We chose this motel above all competition for its closeness to our daughters wedding. We booked the whole motel out for the family. With COVID, the wedding moved from October to November. Mark and his staff could not be MORE ACCOMODATING, changing the dates without ANY fuss. The rooms have recently been renovated with stylish fitting and the biggest TV in a motel room have ever seen.||All rooms look out over the pool and spa. Across the road is great coffee, takeaway, bottle shop and a small supermarket ... everything you need. The beach is a 1 minute stroll away. Car parking is at the rear and plentiful. The gardens are manicured with love. The owners regularly on hand to make sure everything is perfect. I cannot recommend Blue's Motel...
